Preseason Football Mags are out.

But back to the football topic.

Brandon Powell is not at all a bad player. Definitely no all American but the kid leaves it on the field every play.

Cleveland, Powell, Callaway, Massey, Swain, and Hammond's can be a special group.

I think they can be good but i dont see special. At all. Even Callaway barely tips that iceberg. Its a nice group, a group others would want but not a top 5 grpup

Potential based. But to this point they have not proved top 5.

But I don't have the time to study other teams rosters. I can't think off of last year's observation 6 other teams that has a group that matches that potential.

FSU is in the same boat. We have about 3 five stars and noonie coming back. Tons of potential but not sure they will pan out

I see Toney joining Powell and Massey in the slot at times, plus whatever Wildcat he runs. Throw in some RB stuff, and If he continues to develop physically, he might eventually be a Harvin type of player for the Gators. I doubt that he can ever win the starting QB job, but he looks to get his shot at that as well. Good luck to him at wherever he plays.

It's unlikely but if the coaches DO move to a more run oriented QB attack, he's certainly got a shot.

There isn't another "Harvin"...when there is that kind of guy that hits the field again then we'll be calling by his name...i.e....Tebow, Harvin, Weurffel, Nelson, Cater, Emmitt, Kearse, etc

Sorry bro I just hate when people are looking for the next Percy...it was awesome while he was there but that guy is gone.

Hate whatever you like not-bro, that's fine with me.

Harvin is Harvin, >>> but what I said was a HARVIN TYPE of player.
Not an exact cloned copy with exactly the same skills.

And maybe the next guy of that TYPE won't have migraine headaches causing him to miss important games, along with a serious weed fetish to have to duck and dodge around... o_O
