Russia is still very much a threat to former Soviet Satellites. Also, Putin could easily use those nukes as leverage...just like he's doing right now.

You have to admit that the parallels between Putin and Donbass/Crimea are eerily similar to Hitler and the Sudetenland. Also remember that Germany was not the most militarily powerful country in Europe at that time. France had a HUGE army and Britain had a far superior economy.

To Fever's point, Putin might at this moment be satisfied if Ukraine sues for peace and gives him what he wants. I think he is dying and he won't have time to recoup the losses he has incurred to try again in his lifetime. Ukraine's army has caused WAY more damage than anyone thought possible.

The reality is, Zelensky is a puppet leader installed by the US, as such, they have a vested interest in keeping conflict going with Russia, cause that gives them a reason to launder 'aid' funds to Ukraine, and back to the US.
Not sure why we are only focusing on Putin here, the US has plenty of blood on their hands.
