Confederates are viewed as racists.
Democrats were confederates.
So that means democrats were racists. Which is why the dems have been on this kick the last few years to remove all confederate statues.
All of them are democrats. They want to remove the historical reminders of their racism.
And here's the kicker...that proves they know their 'parties flipped sides in the 60s' narrative is bullshit.

Wikipedia has a list of all the former kkk members who served in Congress.
Over 90% of them are dems.

Byrd was not just a member of the KKK, he was a KKK Grand Master in Va.
And not just O'Bomba gave a eulogy, the Hillbillery and creepy-sleepy Joe did also.
That's not a logic leap. That's verifiable history.
You can argue if the same is true today but what he said is a historical fact.
