Peace out, y'all

"Trumpanzee".......you have to be a thoroughly brainwashed, damned fool with ZERO activities going on in life to sit around and come up with that one.

Yet, when you-know-who got egg back in his face being called a "Biden-Monkey" he went crying to Jason.

Trademark of a liberal = always dishing it out, but never being able to take it.
Those that mindlessly support Socialism and the swamp Rats (either party) are Chumpanzees.

Those that actually understand what's going on are just plain ole traitors....

It's highly useful for law and medicine, but since I'm neither IDGAF. ;)
I also took 21 hours of Philosophy courses, 24 hours of ancient Roman history, went to Europe twice and took Italian.

For the most part, the hottest girl in any of my classes was my Italian teacher. I was pretty motivated to not be terrible in that class.

See, that's where you went wrong, Terribly. I would have dogged it and asked for private tutoring. ;)

Yeah, because the mob runs them off. Why try to have a discussion with people who all they do is flame

And be honest, you had to look up how to spell acolyte, didn’t you? I just took a wild shot.
Agreed. Then there are those that flamed in every post calling folks trumpanzees. Thankfully he ran himself off by losing a ban bet.

"I created the Parking Lot so people could have a place to voice an opinion about topics OTHER than UF related topics. It was not intended for you to say whatever pops into your head, calling people names etc...I have zero issues banning, deleting, or simply removing the Parking Lot from this site. I am not going to waste my time editing your post. If I read something that crosses the line you will be removed from the board and can take it to another site."

Point of order, you didn't create the Parking lot, you renamed The Lounge. This site, regardless of owner, has always had an off-topic area, and when this site changes hands again, it will continue to do so.

Don't worry about replying. I don't respond well to threats or people who don't respect free expression, and I don't negotiate with terrorists. So I'll be doing as you suggest and taking it to another site.

I'll pray that you find the unconditional love and peace that comes from God, Jesus, Holy Spirit.

I've been on Gatorbait since Fall 2000 under different handles of my own and of a friend, due to some past permabans. I'm mature nowadays, well relatively speaking, haha. Speaking of that, I may just sign up again with a new handle to get to the national boards that I've missed for a few years now. Also, haven't lived in North Jersey for 8.5 years now and am tired of getting trashed on and dealing with preconceived notions by non Jerseyans, haha.
It's been so long I don't really recall my first post under the umbrella of sites that first began with Gatorbait. (Bianchi was still on the staff of the Gainesville Sun if I'm not mistaken). I know for sure it was as early as 1999 because someone created a meme of his (Warricks) "Heistman Trophy" with an attached Dillard's tag and posted it on the forum. 😂 Sadly I can no longer find it, was copied onto an old PC hard drive that died long ago. The internet was relatively new and not fully mainstream and the Wild Wild West, I think 1996 (and AOL dialup) was my first online experience with the computer.

Oh, and you can thank Bradleygator for any preconceived notions. He's still got Buttertoofs as his avatar for crying out loud. 😂

While I am admittedly influenced by North Jersey since that is where my paternal side of the family is from, I tell people I'm an All-American because I've lived in 7 States with 6 of those States I lived in before I graduated from UF. Now I'm in the middle of the Carolinas near Charlotte. My maternal side is from Massachusetts so my family sides are half obnoxious North Jersey Yanks fans and half obnoxious Boston area Sox fans. Unlike all of them I was born in Texas in a hospital named after Jefferson Davis, haha. I tell Southerners that to foreigners all Americans are known as "Yankees" or "Yanks", haha. I ride around town wearing my Yankees cap while blasting Confederate Railroad and all the good Southern Rock and Country out my car with windows down all year round, haha.
I have friends in Charlotte now. From what I'm told, Charlotte is a woke hell hole just like the city limits within Gainesville. So much that the surrounding county wants to secede from Alachua County. 😂

Yep, Charlotte is liberal just like all bigger cities around the country. That's why I specifically moved just south of the border in SC when I left NJ. I can be downtown Charlotte or at CLT airport in 25 minutes yet I live by horse farms, peach orchards and strawberry fields in Patriot AF South Cackalacky, haha. My area does 4th of July fireworks any night of the year we want while I'm only a couple of miles from Charlotte city limits/NC State line.

you need to help young @bradleygator escape the hell hole of NJ

Hate to say it but a lot of these "SEC towns" have become Woke-Ville USA. Gainesville, Baton Rouge, Knoxville, Nashville, Columbia (Mizzou and SC), and College Station to name a few.

Lexington is pretty woke too. Maybe not quite as bad as some of the other SEC towns, but is definitely "woker" than the rest of Kentucky, with the exception of Louisville.

GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) -Southeast Gainesville was the site of yet another shooting in Alachua County on Saturday night. According to the Gainesville Police Department, two men were hit in a drive-by style shooting near 1900 Fourth St. around 9:30 p.m. Both victims were trauma alerted to UF Health Shands.

The second shooting from Saturday occurred at 1000 Southwest 62nd Blvd.

“These two incidents are not related to one another, but obviously are a part of a pattern (blue city) we’ve seen in the last few weeks of gunshots and shootings of people being shot here in the Gainesville community,” GPD spokesperson Graham Glover said.

College towns all over the country have been woke for many decades, regardless of the State or region.

North Jersey has plenty of nice and rich areas which is why I tell people I'm an economic migrant, a legal one that is, to the Carolinas, haha. My wife got pregnant and I didn't want to raise my kid to be an arrogant, douchey North Jersey kid and the price and taxes of a decent home in a good school district while also commuting to Manhattan was miserable, so we ditched to the better climate and better all around family living of the Carolinas. I was ok with moving to Florida at the time but my wife doesn't like to fly and wanted to be a day's drive from Jersey in case we visit family, which we haven't even done in 3 years anyway and I'm fine with that. Now, my cousins all moved to Citrus County, FL, where my grandma used to live so I've snorkeled with the manatees and eaten the grouper at Stumpknockers, haha.

smart kids take algebra in 8th grade algebra 2 in 10th and ap calc in 12th
Yes, they do, but that is not the norm, it's the exception. We have the lowest IQs ever recorded just look at these numbers posted in the last 10 years. Abysmal. I'm reteaching math in College courses I teach, Sir.

That's because these kids were never taught the basics in secondary education schools (i.e. kindergarten-high school).

Yes, exactly what I was referring to. You realize that more people are enrolled in CC or Adult Education programs than attending 4-year universities. We still have a large % of HS dropouts seeking the GED. I tried to retire 5 years ago but I was begged to continue teaching forensic science and now basic courses in CC and Adult Ed.

Common Core.
The Common Core, in theory, is just focusing on exemplary instructors (federal funds dependent), however, by the time each state decides what that means it can be disastrous and the loser is the public school students. Especially the grammar school-aged children that never receive the basics needed to complete middle-high school. Add in No Child Left Behind and many are pushed through and receive HS diplomas with 2nd-grade reading levels. I am teaching college-aged students that have Lexile Ratings of 800-1200 on average.

the country pushes "college" too much. these people should be learing basic trades. but i digress.

I do push for vocational skills and certifications (especially if a young person shows aptness in carpentry or other areas where skilled laborers are needed). You are missing the point, many of these young people are able to finish college they just needed someone to believe in them and show them how. I can work with any student and improve their academic standing no matter if it's improving reading levels, obtaining a GED, or finishing a college degree. I just require a positive attitude. If you don't know how (I will show you). If you say you refuse then I can not help you.

That's what I did back in the 90's....not saying I'm smart, haha, just saying you're right. I went to middle school and high school in 4 different towns in 3 different States and this is basically what I did in mid and late 90's....pre-algebra in 7th grade, algebra 1 in 8th, geometry in 9th, algebra 2-trigonometry in 10th, pre-calculus in 11th (I think, can't remember since it was a small laid back school Tombstone, AZ, haha), AP calculus in 12th. I had senioritis so just barely passed AP calculus. During summer orientation at UF we took the SAT II for math to see what course we could take freshmen year and I chose the weed out engineering Calculus 1 course even though I only needed to take the easier Business Calculus course. First Fall semester freshman year was not ideal for taking the engineering Calc, haha parties, football, living away from home, ended up being my worst grade during my four years at UF with a C+. Didn't need it for my major anyway.
