Lane did ok at UT his first year, almost beat Bama. He went to USC when they were on probation. And he has done pretty good at FAU. He's a character and has his flaws but honestly at this point, I would be ok with him. If he doesn't work out at least we have a good laugh in our future

With Chip out and Frost possibly gone, then I'm ok for either Leach or Kiffycakes.

Both have Spurrier-esque moxie and would be great to go drinking with.

It takes a certain type of ambitious douche to bring the Gators glory. Spurrier had it, Urban Liar had it. Kiffycakes has it possibly too (he's got the douche part but we would have to see what kind of burning drive he has to win the nattie). Leach would be great because Gator nation loves the deep passing game and points.
