Our Defense

Despite the 2 TD's at the end, the Gator defense is bad ass. We lost our best edge rusher McCallister, had several injuries and until the 4th quarter they had less than 50 yards. The pass rush ran out of gas. We still held than to around 200 yards well below their average at their stadium.

Hopefully we can rest those who need it next Saturday.

You just wonder how many more personnel losses they can absorb.

I think our defense would be vulnerable some to a quick paced spread offense in the passing game. Our safeties and LBs just get out of position way too much when attacked in the middle and deep with numbers.

Agreed and playing with 2 LB's most of the time...there is some coaching stuff but all and all defense has played really well.
