Official MIDTERMS thread. All polling/key races info goes here please

And Mr Closet Twink himself, Charlie Crist. Crist brings back memories of another closet Twink, former Jax mayor John Peyton. His marriage to a female was nothing but a front.
I used to see lil Johnny Payton in the beaches Bailey's Gym 20 years ago. He was a ginger twink then when he was mayor. Not a big deal, politician silver spooner. But he was frail AF and pasty as a cup of flour. Never knew he was gay. I used to rub elbows with some of the Skinners and Stocktons of old money, just as a party crasher, old money smells like decadence and gaydom to be truthful. There were some parties in Marsh Landing area that were hysterical. Rome, circa 2002. 😂
Additionally........I used to run into Kim Alexis quite often. We were not acquaintances, but ran in similar circles. She was married to one of the "chosen ones". She was hot back in the day.

"As the former Maricopa County elections attorney, I've watched the midterm election results trickle in with disbelief. Polls across the country mostly showed a red wave, and usually in previous years when the polls tighten up and show Republicans neck and neck with Democrats, the Republicans end up winning. (I've always suspected the "tightening up" was a trick by pollsters to demoralize the right early on.) But this year, just like 2020, the results are defying polling."

The guy on Fox from the NRCC said there is ZERO reason the house shouldn't have already been called. He knew his shit

He’s said Boerbert is winning and getting most of the post election votes coming in because they’re from rural counties. Said the DEMONCAT would have to win over 70% of the vote with 4K votes left. He said the race should already be called

He’s said we have great chance of picking up 2 more house seats in California. He’s said late votes are same day votes are trending about 54 % for the gop. Said he thinks 222-224

Just about every JSO officer said as much.

This is what the "Red wave" has turned into?

A discussion of Jacksonville politicians, hurling personal insults at democratic candidates, and celebrating a thin majority in the house?

I used to laugh at the insanity going on in the GOP...
But as that party self implodes its dysfunction is screwing up America

Here's just another example of how trump supporters are insanely illogical

Fox News Stars Squabble Over How Much Trump’s to Blame for Midterms

Three Fox News stars on Sunday publicly squabbled over whether former President Donald Trump or Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell is to blame for the Republican Party’s midterm elections flop—a preview of the divisions taking hold within the GOP and the cable-news outlet that often acts as its de facto communications arm.

While many Republicans have blamed Trump and his far-right, election-denying candidates for the midterms underperformance, the former president and his allies have taken to blaming McConnell and party leadership for the failure to generate a so-called “red wave” election sweep.

Fox News contributor Marc Thiessen on Sunday morning tore into the notion that McConnell is to blame, tweeting: “Amount McConnell spent bailing out Trump candidates: $241 million. Amount Trump spent backing his own candidates: $14.7 million... But, yeah, let’s get rid of McConnell.”

“Spot on,” wrote fellow Fox News star Brit Hume, a veteran conservative political analyst.

Seriously, and I mean seriously. No reason for friendly fire. That's just dumb and counterproductive. Two alphas on the same team in the locker room fighting before the game. That's just sad AF to me.
There is always and I mean always friendly fire in a debate. It’s part of the gig. Trump annihilated Ted Cruz all during the campaign and they are good now. As for whether they should question each other on a debate stage? Absolutely they should, it might be the only chance they ever get asked legitimately tough questions of each, and that we get answers.

The last person to ask trump a legitimately "tough" question in a primary debate

For all the folks in a tizzy about Trump getting on Desantis, just stop. It’s silly. This is how the game is played. Good grief.

This is nothing more than the media doing exactly what we should have known they would do. This stuff isn’t difficult. This is what I was talking about when I said Rush is missed dearly.
Well Whoremella did call Hiden a racist during a debate, so there's that too. 😂

Yep we have to play their game some and hope it can overcome the BS in 2024. Stress early voting and get people out there making sure the votes are banked early. I looked at a turnout AZ map and many blue areas in AZ adjusted for turnout difference from 2020 did even better than they did in 2020 Maricopa County compared to Red areas.

Funny to watch buyer's remorse set in....

You all believed in a "Red Tsunami" and are bickering over losing again

People are getting it. Now if we can get the legislatures to return to pre-Covid election rules we will have that red wave in 2024.

The purple states better get rid of almost all mail in voting or we'll never win another election. Mail voting is absurd, the potential for fraud is astronomical. When people stop trusting elections and stop voting, we are screwed. The commies win.
