From what I can tell, the solution is simple: don’t nominate Trumpy, conspiratorial firebrands and the GOP has a decent chance to win.
To be fair, Democrats played a cynical game of supporting wacko candidates in the GOP primaries, so they are partly to blame for this outcome. But GOP primary voters must be more strategic about seeing through this and nominating candidates who can actually win.

I walk into early voting facilities and literally wait for about 5 minutes. Mail in voting is and even liberal outlets admit this, the biggest potential for voting fraud. We are disenfranchising millions with it.

No one said ban absentee ballots. Just put the old rules back. That way we limit potential for fraud and disenfranchisement. Every American should be in favor of secure elections unless you support election thieves.
Early voting in person solves this.
Just open the polls 2 weeks early.
No one on earth is so busy they can’t find 20 mins in a 2 week window to go vote.
Then, follow the FL model. If you need an absentee ballot you can request one. But sending every voter a ballot has to stop.

I could live with FL's system with absentee ballots. Especially with good signature verification and allowing the counting of ballots prior to election day so it isn't a frickin week to know what is going on. Also no acceptance of ballots after election day like in FL.

If you reduce polling places and increase wait times then people find other approved methods to voting (mail-in & drop boxes)
Especially when the top of the ticket is questioning the US mail system as being corrupt

There are big differences I think. FL doesn't accept ballots after election day I think (could be wrong on AZ but know most states our west do). FL also doesn't have ballot boxes posted all around town for weeks. As far as counting its a huge difference getting the results usually that night compared to getting the results more than a week later.
