Not sure why they would need this bill, but if New York doesn't have a law requiring those put in quarantine to stay there, then they need one. And that's exactly what this is. Quarantine.
Looks to me like I'm the only one who read it. It's quarantine, and it takes the governor to order it. After 3 days it has to be recertified or it goes away. I know you all just LOVE to scream and jump up and down whenever you are told to do so, so color me not surprised that you are all following the tail in front of you like good little sheep.

The two parts bolded above are flat out tyranny.
1) The Gov isn’t a doctor or even health professional
2) WTF does “removal and/or detention” even mean? Detention where? Removal from where? I can’t believe you are OK with vague and strict legislation like this. It’s insane.

It allows him to detain people who came in contact with someone suspected of contracting a communicable disease.

I hope red state legislatures ban the public and private sector from requiring vaccine proof as a requirement to engage in commerce or get a job.
