LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The 16th-seeded Florida volleyball team is set to take on the top-seeded Louisville Cardinals in the NCAA Tournament Regional Semifinal on Thursday at Freedom Hall in Louisville, Ky.

First serve is slated for 1 p.m. on ESPNU with Katie George and Eric Frede on the call. The match can also be heard on the airways of 98.1 FM/850 AM.

Florida (22-8, 14-4 SEC) and Louisville (30-0, 18-0 ACC) are facing one another for the ninth time in program history on Thursday. The Gators hold the 8-0 series advantage, including a 2-0 record in the NCAA Tournament. The last time these two squads faced off was Aug. 30, 2019, where Florida was victorious in three sets.

The Gators advanced to the Regional Semifinal after downing Florida A&M and Miami in the first and second rounds, respectively, while Louisville moved on to the Sweet 16 after topping UIC and Ball State in the first weekend.

Florida is looking to make its 18th trip to the Regional Championship and overall, the Gators are 17-19 in Regional Semifinal matches in their 32-year NCAA Tournament history.
