The Florida Gators Men's Basketball team (19-13) will officially participate in the National Invitation Tournament (NIT), opening at home in the first round against the Iona Gaels (25-7)

The Gaels come into the contest led by longtime Louisville head coach Rick Pitino, who hopefully, will not be brought up in the Gators head coaching search.

So who has more national titles, Pitino or Donovan? In the end, Pitino's record vs Billy doesn't mean squat. Hell, Leonard Hamilton beat Donovan 3 years in a row, the first time was the year UF repeated. FSU fans creamed their pants over that meaningless win. I believe FSU either missed the NIT or didn't play in the postseason at all.
