Nikki has some splainin to do

Hope you are right. But I would not bet on it. This election is not Trump vs Biden. It is Trump vs those who hate Trump. And they will lie, cheat, steal, bribe, threaten and fabricate to beat him. Sadly, he's brought most of this on himself. The man is a 5 year old in a 77 year old body. He just can't keep his mouth shut.

Good lord you are butthurt over desantis.

93% of his endorsed candidates won in 2022? Hmmm. I just googled the question what % of Trump endorsed candidates won in 2022? Why don't you try doing the same.

Look, I hope I'm dead wrong and that those of you supporting Trump are absolutely correct. But Trump has never earned more than 48% of the vote. And with the messes he's made, his ceiling is now probably 44% of the vote. (Dems won't vote for him and he's lost 20% of GOP). Suburban women hate him, he may pick up a % or 2 among blacks. So unless 3rd party candidates collectively win 10% and take more from Dems, how does the math work?

This is not Trump's policies vs Bidens policies. If it were Trump breezes.

This election is Trump vs (Trump haters). I think there may be more of those.

You do realize he has the nomination locked up. Also, Haley is unelectable. The people that voted for her in NH will vote Biden in the general, and a large chunk on the right won’t vote for her regardless. Good lord, stay away from Mother Jones.

Hell, I bet most right voters on this board won’t vote for Nimarata if she were the nominee. I know my family won’t.

I used hyper partisan Ballotpedia.

Scroll down, there’s a chart.

SMH

People switch parties in droves when only one side has a real primary.

Haley is a Democrat. She’d get slaughtered by Biden in a general. She’s an awful politician and one of her biggest donors is Reid Hoffman.

FYI- Iowa caucuses had 70K less Republicans turnout in 2024 vs 2016. And reports of Dems switching parties to vote for Haley were bunk. Reid Hoffman have $250 K to Haley. She has many donors who have given far more. Hoffman is a lib dem who gives millions to dem causes. He happens to think Biden is awful.

I didn’t realize how many people on “the right” still fall for the BS the left feeds them. Again, the last 2 Republicans that were massively popular with suburban women? Mitt and Mccain. And the right fell for that nonsensical narrative in those years as well.

It’s like freaking groundhogs day with these “moderates”. SMDH. This same voter block falls for the same tricks every damn time.

Lets just ignore history, and the other numbers. The massive inroad’s Trump has made with minorities, and young voters.

No they weren’t bunk. There are videos of them, and Data to support it. Good Lord, Desantis voters were wrong about the polls being fake as well. Do you all never learn?

Why do moderates always repeat leftist talking points?

I think we found another paint chip chewer. Still waiting on his source data from “the people who do this for a living”.

Notice: he doesn’t counter any of the facts with sources and real data, and he just parrots Haley and leftist talking points. He wants you to do his research for him. He isn’t a serious person.

He doesn’t debate or offer any factual data. Just nonsensical talking points. He is a butthurt Desantis voter from the Lincoln Project, Liz Cheney wing of the “party”.

Bottom line, Haley is unelectable.

If you knew me or had seen my voting record or political contributions you would know that is not the case. We gave $2500 to Trump in 2016 and 2020. Equal amounts to others in GOP. Not heavy hitters but we are consistent donors. Final straws to me was when Trump began attacking DeSantis calling him a terrible governor. Then he did the same to Kim Reynolds when she endorsed DeSantis. And of course then he labeled Nicki Haley "bird brain." And OK governor Kevin Stitt (a friend of mine) was also attacked when Kevin endorsed DeSantis. Trump can't help himself. He's a 5 year old in a 77 year old body. He will win the battle and lose the war.. .AGAIN.

I'm going to go ahead and be racist for a second.

Don't vote for first or second generation Indians.

India is a socialist country. Sure its democratic socialist one with a parliament, but socialist nonetheless. They are the reason we had to partner up with Pakistan when the Cold War started, India is very cozy with Russia.

I've met two real ones that are pubs, no conservatives. They're going to be RINO until the third generation. They are basically the Chinese with less open resentment for white people.

On the rare occasion that they serve in the military they are invariably in the rear with the gear in medical or JAG, With the exception of the Sardar Sikhs who tend to be ksatriya (warrior) class over there who until recently had to choose between their religion and the uniformity of the American military. Now that the Supreme Court has ruled making them cut their hair or shave their beards and not carry their kirpan was a violation of their first amendment rights, they will be in the military because that's their tradition.

Most Indians aren't Christian either although interestingly enough all the ones that are politicians are.

Like most Asians they are big on government.

So wait for the third generation or 2nd generation that grew up in the South or Midwest, otherwise you're getting an extremely moderate Pub or RINO.

First off - it should be a red flag that an ultra-liberal globalist is that big of a donor.

Secondly - you’re right, the liberal Garipalli family donated $1MM.

If she’s such a conservative stalwart, and she’s gonna save the country from the liberals, why are they donating in large sums?

I have a guess…

It wasn’t a contested primary. When the outcome has been decided people stay home.

And DJT got 32k votes in 2020 and 56k votes in 2024.

You know what that means? The drop off wasn’t Trump’s fault. DeSantis and Haley sucked this cycle and DeSantis lived in Iowa in the weeks leading up to the caucus.

You are trying way too hard to ignore the obvious here. DJT is a political brand at the moment, mostly because of his big mouth you hate so much.

Three reasons. #1. Biden is a disaster and Kamala would be worse. #2- They hate Trump. #3- They felt Nicki's answers re abortion were reasonable. Look, I supported DeSantis because we need to move on from Trump. With DeSantis out, Haley is our best chance to actually win. She would help House candidates, Senate candidates and down ballot others. If we want to win, we need to be smart. Trump gets us beat and political experts have been trying to point this out since 2022 "red wave" that didn't happen.

So Trumps personality is more important than appeasing Iran, inflation, high interest rates, weak military, etc? Because Trump WILL BE the Republican nominee. He is Americas only chance. Hslley is a flip flopping liar, and could EASILY be a democrat with all of her position changes. I vote RESULTS, NIT personality. Just seeing the people that are trying so hard to keep Trump from office should be quite a good clue.

On what political planet does a candidate that’s being hand picked by the opposite party and gets 27% of the base to turn out “the best option”?

They are hand picking the candidate they think gives Biden the best chance to win.

I don’t want to be rude, I don’t know you, but you have the political acumen of a soap dish.

DeSantis just committed political suicide on a national stage. And Haley? Woof she's embarrassing herself more every day.

Not arguing whether Trump will be the nominee....the question is can he win? I hope you and others are right. But I don't like the math. And my first choice is DeSantis. That said, we have a few hard core conservative relatives in SC and they thought Haley was a terrific governor. Haley will clobber Biden. Last poll had her beating him by double digits. But Biden will not be their nominee. He is going to get yanked.

Let's check back in June and see who is correct. I hope you are.

In 2016, a lot of people said Trump had no chance of winning the primary, much less of beating Hillary. ALL the polls agreed with them. JEB was the Repubs answer/only way forward. Well, it didn't quite turn out the way all those people or the polls thought, did it.

Post the poll. Also, she is down by 27 in her own state. Hell, her own Senators and Former lieutenant governor are backing Trump.

Stop and think about the comment "many democrats donated and voted for Haley". Is that really true? 2 states have voted and Dems could not vote in either unless they switched parties. Independents could in NH. And do they not decide the election in the 6-7 battleground states as well?

Or is that what Susie Wiles is pushing out as a narrative to take down Haley? Susie is a brilliant political tactician...and engineered the smear adv campaign against DeSantis to define him before he could define himself...last summer before he even declared.

Haley is no lib or Democrat any more than DeSantis or Reynolds are among the worst governors.
