New EPA Chief finds Biden's $20B slush fund

This is absolutely ridiculous. Biden et al were stealing the government blind. This is the kind of stuff that you hear about in 3rd world countries. $20B stashed away in a Citi Bank account, out of direct control of the government, being given out to his cronies.

"This was on our radar during the transition, when the video was posted online at the beginning of December of the Biden EPA political appointee admitting on camera they were “throwing gold bars off the Titanic.”

A $20 billion Biden administration green-energy slush fund was collecting interest at a private bank and is being distributed without proper oversight, Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Lee Zeldin reveals in an exclusive interview.

President Joe Biden’s EPA parked $20 billion at the financial institution, which The Post has learned is Citibank, as part of the 2022 Inflation Reduction Act’s Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund. But the awardees weren’t announced until August 2024 and Citibank was not brought in until September — after Biden’s disastrous June debate performance led him to withdraw from his re-election effort in July, making for a very different race with Vice President Kamala Harris the Democratic nominee.

Zeldin’s team is looking into whether former EPA employees are working at any of the grantees, which include the Opportunity Finance Network (receiving $2.29 billion), where vice president Laura Silverman says she brings “economic, financial, and social justice to communities,” and the Native CDFI Network ($400 million), which has featured Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) as a speaker. Power Forward Communities, a $2 billion recipient, has no list of employees on its website — but does have openings for government affairs VP, communications VP and special assistant.

The others: Climate United Fund (which got the biggest grant, nearly $7 billion), Coalition for Green Capital ($5 billion), Inclusiv ($1.87 billion), Justice Climate Fund ($940 million) and Appalachian Community Capital ($500 million).

Rooting out the corruption is great but none of this would be necessary if congress was doing what is constitutional. We are so far down the line even our originalist would be afraid to put congress back in its box.

If its not listed its not something they can do. Commerce is not a blank check! (See Below)

Now compare the function of every agency created by congress vs the list and see which ones carry out an enumerated power. If they dont then they are un-Constitutional. FDR drove a tank through the wall when he threatened/blackmailed the court with "packing"

Yes the government doesn't work if checks and balances are not in place and congress has long subverted their responsibility in all of this. They all seem to just look out for themselves in order to get reelected and not care about the American people as a whole

Agreed. But I think (hope) once Elon illustrates the crappy stewardship Congress and the executive branch have been over the last few years, that one party will see fit to make a point of better oversight/stewardship.

I say one party, because it’s apparent that the other party is gonna dig their heels in to maintain the gravy train and to pander to their decreasing base.

My guess is 99% of congress is also on the take. That's why nothing gets done.

Their argument is that congress, not Musk should be doing this. However why have they never tried? So we got it, and most of it is tumbling down.

I suspect this is all old news and Trump knew about this years ago. They aren't just finding this stuff, they've known about it all along.

This is about disclosing to the public what has really been happening.

If the $20B flush funds are this easily found, how hard did they try to bury the $20 TRILLION funds?

Former Trump 2016 transition team member and DOD employee Jan Halper-Hayes claims that we have recovered *650 planes full of gold bars* from underneath the Vatican.

I think we have no idea the scale and scope of the worldwide corruption that Trump is going to reveal.

London isn't a part of the UK. It is its own country with its own government.

Washington DC isn't a part of the US. It is its own country with its own government.

All three are networked. All three have massives amounts of gold.
 
650 plane loads of gold is ~$680B and is enough to fill 5744 Penske trucks assuming the plane are the smaller C-130s vs larger planes. This is a low end conservative estimate. The Vatican would own 6% of all the known gold. All the known gold is ~$20T in value. US debt is 36T.

Ft Knox supposedly has about 400B. Don't have the link or know its veracity. Elon is talking an audit. :)

You don't "recover" or steal 6000 truckloads of gold.

The Catholic church has ~1.3B members.

@ $40/person/Sunday/yr they can buy $680B worth of gold per year. If they wanted they could buy all the gold in the world in around 20 years. The catholic church is over 1700 years old.

Seems like every year they catch someone cashing checks for a relative they have in the deep freeze.

Spouse, child , niece, nephew, grandchild or caretaker. They are addicted to the free money.

I picture some spinster who took care of an elder, lived in a paid for home, bought the groceries, didn't pay many bills, had a part time low wage job and boom the relative dies. I cant get too mad at a schemer taking from a Ponzi scheme. They will end up in jail longer than a murderer. Unkle Samski don't play.

Went to TX last summer. In San Antonio the "missions" from 200 years ago have ornate churches in them.

Unless the Popes are leprechauns I see no reason to sit on 680B worth of gold and if thats a goal why stop there.

On the other end AI says the RCC has a 73B networth. That is way off.

Thats a paltry 1.08 a week per parishioner. There are 20K + catholic properties in the USoA alone. Thats IMO easily 20T in property. Obviously if he wanted to, the Pope could buy a nicer Popemobile. The 5000 citizens of the Vatican are not wanting for anything.

While its possible for them to sit on and waste 680B of wealth ( as a rainy day fund that large is a waste), that amount of wealth has not been "recovered" by anyone.

We shall see. I have learned the last few years that underestimating the amount of corruption taking place on a global scale is not a game I want to play.

I suspect we will eventually learn that the US has enough wealth available to pay off the national debt, and has for a century or more.

Meaning none of this had to happen. It was all orchestrated by evil people to push corruption.

Its more than corruption to try and lock up that much wealth. Even Piglosi would want a cut of that. Its got to be quasi-religious nuttery.

I don't know, but I do know a gal who was married to a very wealthy associate of Rod's, and during their divorce rod made certain that he was protected and she got completely ****ed over. She is also completely crazy, but I don't know how recent that is. Her stories are certainly pretty good and I believe her for the most part ...

Scarcity drives up the price of the resource and makes it easier to use it for corruption.

This is another example as to why democrats are America's #1 enemy. WHY IN HELL would someone want to neutralize a Nations #1 commodity? Because you want that Nation to FAIL.
