Yeah, it's been a great day. No major negative surprises. To bad we missed on Wilson and Ffrench but there should be a good crop of portal WR's chomping at the bit to catch passes from DJ without all the development. Thomas is still out there, right?
Don't hold your breath on Thomas. Heisman said his asking price is much too high for a guard. You can't pay an incoming guard more than the tackles on your roster. That causes a ridiculous amount of problems. Not worth it; Dice is a very similar player.

Wondering if they’re gonna try to make a late push for Thomas? Seeing as they didn’t hit on Wilson and Ffrench, might have a few dollars stashed to throw that way

I would imagine that they made a competitive offer to Thomas that they were comfortable was the correct amount. Just because we don't have a few others come doesn't all the sudden increase the value of Thomas. Sure, maybe you have a few extra dollars you might throw in, but I doubt you would change your offer by any significant amount. it's not a use it or lose it situation.

No. It's already been said they are not going to pay Thomas the amount of money he wants.

Save that money for the portal.

You are allowed to say what you want. But we are allowed to think you are REALLY FREAKING ANNOYING when you say the same exact thing over and over again on every thread.
Amazing how people who "complain" the most think they're entitled to applause, that no one should be allowed to "complain" about their "complaining") .....

used a synonym to lower the temperature ...

If I were you, I would be very careful about mentioning email to bosses. If your behavior today on this board were made public to your bosses you might be in the unemployment line tomorrow.
Go ahead buddy his name is miro. Should help you find his email on the directory lol

Not to sound greedy, but are we expecting anyone else or are we set. I can go back to my life

Also if you took the time I never said I’d email a boss. You know what they say about assuming. Receipts are all above take the time.

I believe right now at 3:15PM Gelsey is headed to FSU to be a WR which is crazy to me after the season they had the outlook etc..not to mention the UF offense goes 4-5 wide often with three WRs and a TE and RB so makes zero sense he thinks he can go be a full time WR with 4.8 speed which is great for TE but WR not so much

Yes he will. Any idea where he wants to practice?
We live in Miami Beach, my wife still has trouble cutting the umbilical cord, his fiance and her family live near Aventura and she just matched with UMiami/Jackson Hospital for a 3 year fellowship in Fertility. My money is on the Miami area.

I hate that. Are we still trying to convince him or is it a lost cause?

Tell him he is going to have the wrong DJ throwing to him
Maybe he just prefers driving in a straight line back and forth from Jax, hahaha

I miss the days of a great TE. Pitts, CI, Troup, Hernandez. Would love to land one. Amir might be real good huh?

I'm not moving any goalposts. You're adding to the conversation other talking points. This is nauseating to argue about since we'll never agree.

And I am bias against Billy G. Maybe I am wrong in regards to the level of development he does. It can also be said the reason we keep having to hope for stud portal receivers is because of Billy G's recruiting and lack of development.

I didn’t add anything outside of BG's development ability and ability to recruit. I poi ted out a recent example was RP.

You added(or someone did) and disputed that by saying he only got drafted that high because of his combine work out. I said the same would equally apply for tOSU receivers.

Until one of these kids say its BG and I'm not going. Take Dallas today, he told UF and Miami he was coming. So does BG get credit for that in your eyes?

You think BG pissed him off between 1AM and 9AM today, or was it something else ($$$$$) that changed his mind.

What about Ffrench and Texas($$$$)?

Shouldn't BG get credit for sign VB ... according to ON3 these are the rankings of the 3... DW>Ffrench>VB

97.09>95.91>95.60. Rank. 2>7>9.

Then looking at each service individually, all are within 1-4 spots in the WR rankings.

Oh wait, the next argument is "VB is a legacy" you think VB JR, is letting his son go where he wont be developed?

You say he hasn't developed here, ignoring his past, ignoring the impact of NIL, ignoring this most recent tenure he has recruited 1 class, and the kids are Fr/ RFr and last year the Oline was bad as was the play calling. Development would be difficult to ascertain for those kids at this point.

Given what we have done with/to their class, it's not the end of the world IMO.
