And on a personal note, I can tell you as a veteran. One of the reasons I left the military a few years back was because they were paying too much attention to political correctness and not enough attention to mission readiness. My drill weekends used to consist of mass, casually drills, teaching marines, how to stay alive when wounded, Shooting on the rifle range, long humps in full packs by the time I left it consisted of two days worth of classes about gender, equality, and adversity, and so on and so forth.
I did not join the military to take diversity and equality classes and that’s exactly what my last year in the military was. Weekend after weekend of classes.
