Dendy won the U.S. Championships with an incredible 28-5 and 1/4, the top leap in the world under legal conditions. He will be representing the U.S. in the World Championships later this summer. Current Gators Robin Renolds, Eric Futch and Najee Glass qualified for the semis in the 400, 400 IH and 400 respectively. Upcoming soph Ladicia Cameron placed 2nd in the junior women's discus. Interestingly, Reynolds ran a 51.97, which easily beat the FSU sprinter who won the NCAA meet (although still well below the top professional qualifiers). Many other Gators still competing this weekend.
