Florida defensive end Jabari Zuniga will play Saturday at LSU, UF coach Dan Mullen said Monday.

Zuniga (ankle sprain) had been cleared to play against Auburn last Saturday, but the staff wanted to give him one more week to get to 100 percent, Mullen said. He has missed the past three games.

Running back Dameon Pierce, who suffered a hard hit Saturday, will be evaluated throughout the week and “has a chance to to play,” Mullen said.

Quarterback Kyle Trask suffered a strained MCL and “should be good to play this week,” Mullen added.

Trask said later Monday he’s day to day, but will be ready to go Saturday.

"...Meanwhile, Mullen said safety Shawn Davis (shoulder) and defensive end Jonathan Greenard (ankle) are both fine after briefly checking out of Saturday's game against Auburn."

I like your 2nd post better than the 1st. :)

LSU head coachEd Orgeron joined the weekly Southeastern Conference teleconference on Wednesday and shared some insight into the injuries the Tigers have been facing across the 5-0 start to the 2019 season.

Linebacker Michael Divinity, who started against Texas and Vanderbilt but sat out against Georgia Southern, Northwestern State and Utah State, appears set to return to the starting lineup this weekend when the Tigers face off against the Florida Gators on Saturday night at 7 p.m. in Tiger Stadium.

"Divinity is a little bit further along," Orgeron said. "I could see him starting."

Orgeron didn't hold the same confidence in senior defensive end Rashard Lawrence's outlook as a potential starter this weekend, though Lawrence has practiced this week with the team in the lead up to the game.

"We will have to see how the week goes," Orgeron said. "He has practiced. He has done some things, but not all the things. We will see. Whether he’s ready to start or not, I don’t know that."

Lawrence started in weeks one and two against Georgia Southern and Texas, but has been sidelined the past three games.

Defensive end Glen Logan, LSU's starter opposite Lawrence, also earned the starting nod in weeks one and two, but has not seen action since as he continues to battle through an injury. Logan has practiced this week with the team, which wasn't the case in the prior few weeks.

"(Logan) is going to be limited this week," Orgeron said on Monday. "I don't know if he's going to be ready."

With Logan out, Neil Farrell has seen action in all five games and earned a pair of starts. Farrell's 22 tackles is good for fourth-most on the team this season, and is the most by any of LSU's defensive linemen.

On Monday, Orgeron confirmed that left tackle Saahdiq Charles would return to the field against the Gators after missing the win over Utah State because of a "coach's decision". Charles missed three games this season, but earned starts in the wins over Texas and Vanderbilt. Orgeron added that backup tackle Badara Traore would not suit up this weekend against the Gators, with the Tigers likely using Adrian Magee as a swing man on the offensive line and Dare Rosenthal as the backup to Charles on the left side.

The Tigers will also have Ed Ingram back in the fold after he missed the entire 2018 season and the first four games of the 2019 season. Ingram returned to the field a week ago, seeing action at left guard for a series in the first half against Utah State before playing the entire second half.

"I thought he played pretty well. He did well assignment-wise, he was good. He didn't get tired. He played well," Orgeron said. "We're going to see this week how he feels. I'll go, usually go with his gut feeling on that decision, him or Adrian. We'll see how the week goes."

LSU's first cornerback off the bench,Cordale Flott,is out for the game, Orgeron said on Monday. Derek Stingley Jr. and Kristian Fulton will be LSU's starting cornerbacks, with Kary Vincent likely back in his role as the team's nickel back. The team had tested out Fulton at the nickel and Flott on the outside at cornerback before Flott was injured.

"Yeah, it looked pretty good but Cordale Flott is out, so," Orgeron said of the nickel looks from Fulton. "Stuff like that looked pretty good, but I hate to cut you short, but Cordale is injured. I don't know if Cordale is going to play this week, so I don't know if you're going to see as much of it."

Orgeron also said backup outside linebacker Ray Thornton will be dressed out and available this weekend after he missed last week's win over Utah State. Thornton had seen playing time in all four of LSU's games to begin the season.

"He’s back and ready to play, and he’s able to play if needed," Orgeron said on Wednesday.

They should just let Orgeron write out his interviews. The man couldn't say shit if he had a mouthful of it. True representation of the entire fan base.
