LSU @ Gators...

5 possessions and 5 touchdowns for LSU. After attending my first Ole Miss game today I might have to trade the royal blue for the powder blue. At least Lane knows analytics.

Earlier in the game we finally and amazingly did à sweep run with incredibly success.....do we try it again later? Haha....no......up the middle like usual.

LSU now 7 of 9 on 3rd down conversions

Midway through the 3rd qtr, Daniels-LSU QB-has thrown for a career high in passing yardage !

Through 3 qtrs
Daniels - 43 yds & 2 TDs rushing; 19-25, 313 YDS, 3 TD passing

Team has quit. Not a good look for Napier. It's his first year so he gets a hall pass, but we are not even competitive. He will have some explaining to do after this one.

As much as I don't like his tendency to make critical non-profiting offensive decisions, I still think he's better than Mullen. Really, we just have to remind ourselves this is his 7th game with a team that had several problems, ability and attitude, last year.

This game is toast. I think it's Kitna time. Find out what he's got, keep Richardson healthy. There's nothing left to invest in this one.

Yep, AR played ok....but 7 completions midway through the 3rd quarter is not gonna cut in the SEC. He would be good as a backup, but not the starter.

He just had an 81 yard td yd run and that's great, it really is. However, an electric-play here and there doesn't put the team over the edge.....it just makes you excited and less likely to remember the previous 10 plays.

The coaches keep trying to make him a pocket passer. On RPOs, he rarely keeps the ball (by coaching design). They've faked the jet sweep several times that would have gone for a bundle. But I swear the ghost of Addazio is back.

At this point, if Napier still insists on not getting an OC....I'm almost OK with his wife calling the plays.

Don't disagree and like I said he gets a hallpass. However, the defense gave up on that last series and not showing much effort on this one. That is on the coaches. Our lack of talent, especially along the defensive front not his fault. #21 would not play for any other sec team and yet he's getting the bulk of the snaps.

First and 10 run play for Etienne. We went trips left and ran inside zone back to the tight end but released the tight end on a tear route. We blocked inside zone with 5 Olineman against a 6 man box. By releasing the tight end we decreased our blocking equal numbers. That is the not smart stuff that I continue to see schematically.

While the interception would have been good....keep in mind it would only have happened because it was overthrown. He would have ripped off 30+ yards or à td if the pass was accurate.

So dont praise the secondary too much on that one.
