The LSU formation w one receiver covered up means he isn’t eligible yet we cover him w a DB and bail off. Have a def call against that set and attack.
Why let them have their way? I never will get it against that formation or against jet motion. Knife in there and attack.

Our ends are always crashing down on RPOs and getting beat inside or outside by not playing contain.

Lsu has looked like the better team overall. If not for their muffed punt and giving us a gift in the réd zone, they would be winning 21-14.

Just blitz 6-7 a play and hope. They will convert on 3rd down anyway. At least you will create chaos.

Align at 8-10 yards deep 5 DBs each play a diff one attacks then LOS. Keep qb guessing. Cause chaos up front and bring 6 from all over the place.
Had time outs in his pocket and let it run down from 9 seconds to 4? Even though it was 4th and 1 still had time for two quick plays with the time out. That was an abortion.
Brian Kelly giving Napier a first half coaching clinic. We made some adjustments at halftime last week, but candidly we most likely will give up 45+ points and that may be too much to overcome.

The front seven isn't half bad but the secondary continues to be absolutely horrible. This isn't a new development. And they need to figure how to get a safety to cover the tight end, that's no job for a middle linebacker.
Yeah, the dline is a ton better than the secondary. Time and time again, the dline will put an opponent on 3rd down, even 3rd and long, and the secondary will give up à first down.
What kind of analytics? The School of Les Miles?
Shoot, even some of the calls of Les Miles made more sense and at least he had teams that could pull off those plays(after probably a lot of reps in practice).

Lsu started looking like they had our offense down pat the last 3 drives before the half. We need some serious half time adjustments, because our defense is going to ....unfortunately still be our defense. ....
I'm starting to see the wisdom of those LSU fans predicting à 14+ point win.....not all bad teams are equal.
Just à reminder....if not for that gift from LSU with the miffed punt.....LSU would be winning 35-14.
Not sure this is worth investing any more time in. Looking like a 56-21 finale, if not worse. Amazing how bad this defense is.
