A loss here against LSU and it will be very hard to make the NCAA tourney. Hard to see us going 10-5 the rest of the way in SEC play or winning the SEC tourney if we can't win this big home game after the recent losses.

This whole team sucks, turnover machine and I could out shoot every one of them, Caselton is the only one worth a shit

Down by 8 at the half in spite of LSU being called for 10 fouls and Florida only 3. Our guard play is just terrible, no matter what combination is out there. We can't shoot 3's and throw the ball away too much. Castleton is the only reliable player on the team and for all the athleticism and hustle from Duruji, he spends too much time on the bench in foul trouble and not contributing. Plus he turns it the ball over. Early in the season, the defense was great, but it seems like opponents have watched enough game film to have figured us out and now we're giving up a ton of layups and easy shots every game. There is talent on this Gator team, IMO - maybe more than we've had since the Elite 8 year. They just aren't jelling as a team and it's not looking good when you see the schedule the rest of the way. Maybe they come back and win this game. Hope so. Just seems more of the same right now, though.

Every advantage and opportunity to win was with the Gators tonight. LSU's point guard was out with an injury, their leading scorer and rebounder fouled out and only played 13 minutes, another big guy fouled out in the 2nd half and the refs called 21 fouls on LSU, only 10 on UF. And yet we still lost by 6, dropping to 0-3 to open the SEC season for the first time since 1981!!! 11-22 from the free throw line and 7-31 shooting 3's. This is a team without an identity who simply doesn't know how to win, despite having one of the most experienced group of players in the country. Disappointing.

LSAO…checked the box score…the UGA kid was the second highest scorer…

yeah…we have issues…
Must have been a good reason for Georgia to not have one bit of interest in a local like Plandrous.
Great choice in the portal there, Mike White. 🙄
