Of, 2,069 precincts, she won 2,049 of them
Of 50 Chicago wards, she won 50 of them, as in ALL of them
In the 2 person runoff, she got 73% of the vote

So when asked why she lost this election, it's because she's a black woman

Dems no longer play the race card as if it's just one of 52. They play the race DECK, where all the cards are about race.

Was Lightfoot really just a white mail in 2019 who transisioned to a black female for this election?
Not one bit of honest reflection of why voters rejected her

I think you guys are missing what happened here.

She was mayor of the murder capital of the world. The dems don't care about that.

But what they DO care about was her public comments. She was often very callous and flippant when asked about the problems the city was facing. That feeds the perception that voters need to stop electing dems to run big cities, cause they destroy them. Dems can't have that.

Wait and see....next guy will be EXACTLY like her on policy, but MUCH more polished when speaking publicly. He will be seen as 'the nice guy'.

This is all optics. Nothing will change in Chicago.

They deserve what they get. I have ZERO empathy for the dumb azzes

This highlights, as Gutfield said, your intersectional bona fides, do not keep people safe, kiddos educated and budgets managed. The people of Chicago see that and spoke.

Good for them - but, the next set may be no better. At all.
