Football Legit Question about Cignetti

This can't be overstated. It's only a big game because Cignetti is a great coach. Plain and simple. I don't expect IU to win as Ohio State is much more talented. There's only so much you can do when your opponent is better at every position but I think IU will be in it.
Sane response...someone please tell me when the last time the tOSU v IU game was a "big game" - I'll hangup and listen

This is such a throw away argument....according to the 247 talent composite IU is 57th...the teams he's beaten rank:
1) FIU - 111
2) Western Illinois - FCS
3) UCLA - 29
4) Charlotte - 66
5) Maryland - 51
6) Northwestern - 55
7) Nebraska - 23
8) Washington - 35
9) Michigan St - 41
10) Michigan - 16

So, 2 wins against teams he should beat based on talent (FIU & W. Ill), 3 wins against teams with roughly the same talent +/- 10 spots in talent comp (Charlotte, Maryland, & NW) and FIVE wins against teams with more talent, in some cases significantly more talent.

So you are going to base "your opinion" on whether he's a good coach based not on his overall body of work, but on whether IU can beat tOSU IN THE HORSESHOE? A team that has a talent composite better than everyone in the country not named Bama and UGA?

That is absolutely WILD. That does not seem to be an objective opinion...
Well said. 👍
