Yeah, not really. We are also the kind that shows up for Christmas and Easter. The Northern Episcopal church is actually become very liberal over the years. I grew up in the South - more traditional, but a far cry from catholicism.
A long time high school buddy is married to an Episcopal lady and he says they’re just Catholics who throw better cocktail parties.
I think Catholics are by far the best consumers of alcohol as far as that goes.......
That and add that I’m Irish, and I probably account for some alcohol distributor’s bonus

Certainly mead is an option when one drinks a country dry….. but there is the 3 week or so fermenting time to overcome. Plus the added hassle of making sure some random butterbar doesn’t find itTouche.
