He is a hugely unpopular Pontiff among many Catholics because of his tendency to speak on sectarian issues many of us do not agree with.

1) The pope is infallible until he starts saying things you don't like, then he isn't anymore.
2) Pope is way to political, need separation of church and state.

However, the many pastors preaching the Trump message are walking with God and love America.

Not to me...I do not call out anyone for their beliefs. But he is not infallible, and proves it many times when he speaks

Okay. I am not a catholic so I am just addressing and reacting to the statements made above on this thread.

It does appear to be selective with a lot of folks. Christians are the primary group that put Trump in power......but its wrong for the Pope to speak on politics?

Couple of corrections here.

When the Pope is supposedly speaking with infallibility, which I don't agree with by the way, it's called "ex cathedra." I don't think this Pope has done any of that though.

Secondly, when we say he's way too political, we mean that he probably shouldn't be speaking about politics much at all but he does so all the time. Big difference and he's also a Communist, which is contrary to the Word of God.

If the Pastors are preaching God's Word, then perhaps that explains why it might be in lock step with many of Trump's stances too. The Dims are on the wrong side morally of every issue.

I do not care what the Pope thinks politically. He came out and chastised the USA for wanting a wall on the southern border...but the Vatican has a large wall protecting it. He lost all credibility on this one. A Pope is a religious figure, and I think with all his people in his religion...he has enough problems to deal with with his own people. And I do not take advice from communists anyway

Just to be clear, I'm not throwing shade on Catholicism, I'm throwing their pope under the bus. pope should not be capitalized until that clown is gone. He is evil and a Communist through and through. People who follow and allow that need to question their faith.
