Joe Pa is Dead...

see, this winning the division twice nonsense is gonna be the death of the program like i've said.. look at their records so far through two years, and look at how much harder Muschamps schedule was. He won more games against ranked teams and top ten opponents in two consecutive weeks than Mac has in two seasons including the two all important sec east title games... He has not done more, in fact he's done much less and his recruiting is FAR worse.. and his offense is just as bad against much worse competition, and now the defense ****ing blows.

Obviously no one cares about what's going on at Florida but us, but when you do and pay attention to all the things I just said, you will see that it's f***ing scary that it's trending worse with this coach than the last one. Muschamp would have won the East the last two years as well because the division finally sucked enough to do so right after he left, UGA fell the f off and UT was just a mirage, and his defenses were night and day ahead of this shit show. It's all true, it would be nice to pretend it isn't for the sake of my and Gator fans sanity, but no...

this is really happening

If it means anything, FSU fans LOVE Macelwain and we don't want him to get fired or go to Oregon.

That should be your first clue, he's holding yall back.

Sad, I was thinking the same thing about Penn State, I mean not just the scandal, but they lost scholarships and had a ban on post season play.

sadgator seriously did not think they would ever be good again in his lifetime, given the sanctions and such. Last night it was astonishing to see their fans celebrating in the streets.

A great illustration of what the right hire(s) can do.

And a commitment to a winning program.

Franklin fields an exciting up-tempo offense with a super athletic QB. Overlook that all you want, but it is attractive to incomong recruits, even our former committ Hansard.

Penn State went through the most embarrassing sex scandal in sports history...and they just won a conference title...in year what under their coach?!?!?!?!?

Let the "hot seat" debate begin....

And the winner of the First annual Gator Awards for the most Negatvie poster EVER is?

Drumroll;

SadGator!

PSU had a nice 2nd half of the season run but let's wait and see how they do over a 3 to 5 year period. They have a tough road ahead in their division over the next few years. One good year is different than sustaining championship results over the long haul. That's what makes Alabama's run so mind-boggling. Yes, every team has a bad/fluke game or so go against them, but in the long run the outstanding/championship programs find a way to make it back to the top.

Year 3.

His first two years he went 7-6 each year.

So... not really sure what your point is except maybe that next year is our year?

At a program that damn near got the death penalty, has a terrible reputation because of child molesters and just recently had sanctions lifted. Why does everyone think all jobs are equal???

And yet they still managed to enroll full recruiting classes in 2014 and 2015. Evidently a lot of talented kids wanted to play for Penn State regardless.

I'm not sure why we're being compared to Penn State in the first place - you're right, not all jobs are equal. All states aren't equal, all programs aren't equal.

Might as well ask why we can't recruit as well as Bama or even F$U.

Actually, we ask that quite often, as we have recruited with them in the past

Can't coach a lick. Can't recruit above 2-3 stars. FIRE THEM ALL IMMEDIATELY!

And since the roster will be full of their crappy recruits in 2017, strip all ships and empty the roster that's full of losers. IF you just 'have to have' a football team, then just use volunteer coaches and walk-ons out of the current student body, because they would certainly be just as good as what is there now...

But stop and think how much money could be saved by closing down UF football completely. (but then what would so many posting here have to bitch, snivel and whine about?)

Most fans were complaining about Franklin after the Pitt and UM loss. His seat was getting hot this year until he pulled this season off. I am hoping McElwain can right the ship, I still have yet to see anything that shows me he really can. Especially when our recruiting is getting worse and worse. We are going to find a qb and have holes every where else.

Fixed that for ya...

I'm gonna have to go ahead and disagree with you on this.
Me, numbers, Michi and a few more demand a recount.....

I really thought it was a toss up between Michi and numbers, but it would appear the sot vote allowed sad to sneak his way in.

You have to look at the state of the program he inherited. They were down a ton of scholarships from sanctions and the roster was a mess. Remember the NCAA gave players the chance to transfer from there without sitting out a year and a good chunk of that roster took advantage of it. So they lost almost all their upperclassmen talent. The first two years was basically a bunch of kids from his transition class and then his first class playing. Putting all that into context 7-6 was a miracle.

I'm more surprised he was able to recruit with all that negativity around the program. Can you imagine how hard it had to be to get parents to send their kids to the school known for child rape? A school still under sanctions and a school that hadn't won anything in forever? And he found a way to still pull talented players.
