It's time FSU

The good news is that fsu has scored a grand total of SIX offensive TDs on the road this year.
Pretty much this. Two of those were cook breakaways, not that they don't count any less, but still not off a drive. Another was off a tech turnover run back to the 2 yard line. So really 3 drives for td's and that's if I'm forgetting something else. If either team is able to muster 4 scores with one being a touchdown, that's your winner. it won't be easy for either team.

I look for your tight end to sneak one past our defense. He's good. And for some reason our defense has not been good at shutting down tight ends.

And if anyone knows about tight ends it is you?

(sorry, I could not resist. No offense intended, and if it is over the line, I am happy to change it.)

Bad news: Yes we have struggled mightily scoring points on the road this year.

Good news: The winner of this game probably won't have to score many points.

I'm just glad we agree on how bad the SEC east is...
UGa is better than Wake. Nothing more.
Trash talk all you want. But USCe beat one of your division champs. FSU lost to GT. Think about that. For all the deserved ridicule that USCe (and the SEC East) gets for losing to the Citadel, your division champ lost to that team. And FSU could not beat a team that has only won 3 games this year. Now UNC and FSU are not ACC celler dwellers. They are at the top of the heap. But they both lost to losing teams

Those two events alone tell us how pathetic the ACC is.

ok, just wondering if he was able to rest his tender legs. IMO, it was 15 carries too many if I were a nole fan,

He did rest his "tender" legs because Jimbo is now actually playing our very good 6'2" 235 pound freshman running back. We now have a two man rotation instead of Cook, Cook and more Cook.

As long as the game is not an important game on the road. He only had 4 carriers against Clemson, after getting 24 carries against Syracuse. And he only had 12 against NC State where Cook got 22. And he got just one more carry than Cook against Chatanooga.

I guess it's a good thing that the game is in Gainesville, since FSU apparently has the worst home-field advantage in all of Division I CFB.

Who Has College Football’s Biggest Home-Field Advantage?

In a list of 127 teams, Doak ranks 127th. We actually have a negative home field advantage.

Huh?

Worst home field advantage, yet longest home winning streak in the nation at FSU.

Consider my mind bottled.

It says I have to subscribe or sign in to read that article. I'm doing neither, but to have us 127 out of 127 seems to say they are using some other criteria than just wins and losses. Don't know but I do know there are a hell of a lot of teams worse than us at home.

"This doesn’t suggest the Mean Green are necessarily good at winning football games at home—in fact, they’ve gone only 39-40 since 2000"

And this is the team they have ranked number one. No need to read any further than this.

Yeah, it seems that their methodology involves comparing road victories to home victories and punishing teams that consistently play well on the road. It a rather silly article, honestly.

The WSJ should stick to reporting about collateral debt obligations and hand-wringing op-eds about how Yellen should raise the interests rate.
