Is this the tipping point for Calif voters?

I think Biden did well as president. I can back up my support of Biden. You never gave him a chance from day 1, so there is nothing that he could've done to please you.

Unlike you, I will give Trump a chance and I hope but I know you won't be as critical with Trump as you were with Biden.

Please list your reasons why you think Biden did well.
Waste of time for anybody, especially me, to continue with a discussion with anybody who thinks "Biden did well as president." He obviously is never gonna change his opinion but also very much in the minority as the great majority of people have the opposite opinion. Historically low approval rating for an exiting president. There's a reason Biden is a one term president and Trump is a two term president starting Monday.

I guess Biden did so well, his own party staged a coup to force him out.

But if it makes KalimGoodman feel better to think of Biden that way and helps KalimGoodman to save face, so be it.

Hey, Biden made Depends Great Again! MDGA! The entire Biden family is rotten to the core. Looking back in history, who has a family wall of shame like this? The Genovese Crime Family?

Yes, what were his accomplishments and if possible, please list the ones that are irrefutable to all Americans. Thanks. …
That's not even a fair question. There is nothing irrefutable for any president. So I don't know how to answer correctly for you.

But what i consider an accomplishment...

  1. Leaving Afghanistan finally, yes I know the withdrawal was bad but I'm glad that he actually got out.
  2. Leading us through a pandemic and avoiding a recession that everyone predicted including everyone on here
  3. Low unemployment
  4. Lowest unemployment for black people
  5. High stock market growth
  6. GDP was good
  7. Only president with job growth every month of his presidency
  8. Increased manufacturing
  9. Infrastructure bill
  10. climate stuff
  11. Medicare price negotiate and insulin cap (Helping my mom now)
  12. Love how his DOJ went after racist police departments.
  13. How he regulated airlines with late flights
  14. Gun safety bill
  15. Student loan forgiveness
  16. Expanding people on Medicare

Things I hated
  1. Border was bad
  2. Afghan withdrawal
  3. Catering to the far left with the gender stuff
  4. Ukraine support but I understood it
  5. Israel support but I understand it
  6. Selecting Merrick Garland

You can never have a real conversation. Trump had lower approval ratings when he left office but he just re-elected. So that proves approval rating means what?

You know for a hard-core Democrat that’s pretty good. I give you a lot of credit Kalim …

Yeah, that was during Covid, which you will never be able to convince me was not foisted upon us by the left in order to get Trump out of office …

When Trump lost in 2020 I (and most of us) were left only with the hope that Joe Biden would be the compromiser and deal maker he’d been during his long and frankly very average career in the Senate.

His total surrender to the ultra left woke wing of his party from day one, along with his mental decline and the puppet masters who controlled him have been some of the most disastrous moments in the history of this country. The damage done leaves the incoming Administration with huge challenges.
I’m just praying for my country.

Definitely not a hard core anything political but I do understand this stuff, well I try to...

I'm not for excuse making or trying to explain away the facts. Biden had a historical low approval rating upon leaving office and so did Trump. So to bring that up as a mark against Biden but ignore it for Trump, speaks to the lack of ability to have a real conversation.

I know you're not a far right person but this post is a complete lie. Biden was never supported on this board or by the right. Before he even took office, he was being talked about as going to be a failure by people on here. Just look at the thread history.

Before he even took office he was being criticized by FOX, OAN and Newsmax as a failure. So no, the right never wanted him to succeed, and yes, I know the same can be said about MSNBC with Trump.

As far as deal making, Biden did more bipartisan legislation than Obama, Trump and Bush. So no idea what you're talking about.

In this instance, this is my opinion and I feel strongly about it, so I'd agree here ...

Again, my opinion unless otherwise noted:

Biden is a schmuck and has been his entire career.

He lied about his law credentials and class standing - he went to a mediocre law school, Syracuse, and finished #76 out of 85 (fact).

He has always been dumb and accomplished absolutely nothing during his "career" other than corruptly pad his family coffers.

He is also famously cheap. As a senator, making well into 6 figures, he gave an avg. of $369 to charity over the course of one decade.

He was our worst president ever and did nothing but weaken the US during his reign of incompetence.

I could go on, but he's not worth the angst .

Good f'n riddance ...

And he was too much of a coward to stay in the race against Trump and then has the utter gall and hubris to tell the media days before leaving office that he could have beat Trump of which only one yoyo on this board believes.

I always find this stuff interesting. How you view him personally is your right, I won't speak on that. Literally all politicians lie about their past, including Trump. So I'm not a tough person on that stuff. Calling someone dumb who finished law school and passed the hardest bar in America is a choice (DE), especially if you never finished law school or passed a bar lol.

I always felt calling America weak after a president is stupid, you never heard me say that. It is impossible to make America weak, way too many resources.

The fact that you are talking about stuff about him as a Senator confirms my point that the Rs decision on his presidency was determined before he even took office, so you spent every day of his presidency seeking confirmation.

He met and exceeded every expectation of incompetence. No one was surprised by anything he did. He was not accidentally competent at any point …
