Sure he is. Would you also rank southern miss, UAB, App State in the top ten defensively? Competition matters.
He’s trying to justify the lackluster effort by the team led by the greatest gameday coach of our generation. I’m not saying Miami doesn’t have a good defense, but I’m also pretty confident they didn’t play anyone with a pulse offensively last year to deserve that lofty ranking.

Every time you post you continually prove how stupid you are. I posted advanced stats which account for quality of the offenses faced. Just because your dumb ass can’t count past 2 and don’t understand what you’re reading doesn’t diminish them any.
And Miami and UGA faced once common opponent in LSU. Guess who’s defense of the two got shredded?

Yards per rush: 5.4
Against Miami:

So yea, as per usual you don’t know shit about what you’re talking about. All advanced metrics show Miami as having one of the best defenses in the country. They lost games because their offense sucked and couldn’t get out of their own way. Nobody needs to make excuses for struggling to move the ball against them, their defense is good whether your uninformed ass acknowledges it or not. You’re irrelevant.

So the scUM scored more than UGly did vs LSU, while holding LSU to less pts than UGly.
And the scUM played them in the 1st game of the season, not in the middle of the season.
