If we get Chip Kelly, I bet he brings us 2 Nattys within 5 years

His record is astonishing. He lost 7 games in 4 years, playing in the Pac 10 where you have a bunch of tough games every year. His worst year he won 10 games, and the other 3 he won 12 games. How could we pass up on a proven winner like that? I say back up the brinks truck and pay him to get us back into championship contention year 1.

It sounds like he isn't being considered.

Then take a mild chance and go with the hot coach, even if he lacks as much experience.

Send a feeler to Fuente.

If no, Frost or Norvell.

If n., then Mullen. He can coach here for a decade and have us in contention nearly every year, with offensive touchdowns.

no, yall won't take any bets apparently..

you see how Muschamp did exactly what I said and laid the ground work for Auburn and Bama to kill that average freshmen QB? Luckily for you like I also said his teams never have enough offense to go with the defense and win.. If they had taken advantage of that hilarious stupidity onside kick to start the game it could have been a one TD game and competing, but again, Muschamp offenses..

UGA is about to face defenses worlds better than that in talent, depth.. Auburn and Bama are gonna make UGA's offense life a living hell and in Jordan hare.. Once that run game gets stuffed and it's 3rd and 6-7-8's over and over.. that qb won't have a prayer

Jesus dude every time it’s a head scratcher with you.

Stoops?

Dude doesn’t even want to coach anymore.
I have to agree with you on that one. Stoops is old too...Kelly (who doesn't even seem to be in the discussion), Frost or Fuente...if we got Kelly we would score about 60 points a game.

SEC bars any school from hiring someone who has been found guilty of any major NCAA violations.

You'd have to get a waiver.

The SEC Commissioners were in a snit when Auburn hired Bruce Pearl, former UT basketball coach who lied to the NCAA about a recruit who showed up at his house while he was throwing a BBQ.

UT never offered the kid( but would have had the NCAA investigation not occurred. Pearl called the NCAA on himself the following day and admitted he lied. But the NCAA decided to make an example out of him.

Kelly's "Sins" are a lot worse than what Pearl did so getting a waiver might be difficult.

Kelley has too much baggage and I seriously doubt UF will even consider him. I would love to have Stoops, but I think he's serious about staying retired. His father died of a heart attack in his 50's and he doesn't want or need the stress that could lead to the same thing for him.

Kelly's 'sins' were so serious Oregon lost 1 scholarship per year and 3 total for them. Teams lose more than that for secondary violations. And the NCAA'S report outlined that he didn't know anything or was involved, but he SHOULD have known which is why they only punished Oregon with one scholarship. The show cause was just a dog and pony show so the NCAA could look tough. Kelly had already accepted the Eagles job when they gave it so it was an empty penalty. Kelly's 'baggage' is just one of those uninformed things that got repeated enough times online and now people think it's true.

This isn't the NCAA. It's the SEC that set up this deal.

Kelly is a valuable commodity. Top of everybody's list that is looking for a new H/C. He will be able to pick and choose.

Back up the brinks truck and get it done. Saban would shit his pants. I doubt he'd even care if we brought in Frost.

Spurrier and B.Stoops are retired from coaching football, period.
Cow-chip Kelly, Gruden, etc are also done. They need to stick to just running their mouths about football, instead of getting in the way of those that want to play it.

Saban types are staying where they are. You ain't got enough money to move them. Saban will join the likes of Spurrier/Stoops when he get's tired of the Bama circus.

It's Frost all the way (IF he'll take it), IF Strickland wants to keep his job for more than just another 2-3 years....

But hey, that's JMOHO's,,, like always.

The nuttlickers win so seldom, that weeks later they are still coming here to beg for some long denied validation from the owners of the SECe in football, and the entire SEC in the All Sports category.

You wanna talk about some very long term buttsniffers butthurt...

I'm assuming you haven't watched much football this year or follow any of the real stats. Their QB leads the nation in 3rd down efficiency and it isn't just little passes, he leads the nation in 3rd down passes over 25 yards. The best UF can hope for is that UGA blows out Auburn also so that the gator loss doesn't look as bad.

Mark Stoops, it is possible but he may rather stay at Kentucky, better program

This trollin' moe-ron must have been fast asleep, or more likely drunk & humpin' his sister back on Sept. 23rd...

Good pick up, I can't believe I didn't get it past you.
The TROLL was obvious, but the BORING was optional.
You supplied your own usual boring, so I supplied the zzzzzzzz's.

Now, you should run in ever decreasing circles until you disappear back up your own azzhole, where your type belongs...

This year will be the best gator team in the next 5 years... bowl-less til 2022

Similar things were said after 2004 season, that UF was the 4th best program in the state, etc, etc (Mike DiRocco actually wrote that in the Florida Times Union, so it's not hyperbole on my part).

Then we hired Urban Meyer, and 2 years later won a national title.

But keep spewing your nonsense, it's mildly amusing.

This will be the worst season left in our lifetimes, we have like exactly 54 scholly players on the roster and any player that was even decent on this treachorously coached team is either suspended for year, out for year with injury or out again today.. We won't have been able to even compete with mizzou or south carolina lower teams in the conference of the SEC.. Will lose to UAB and lose out.. and it could have been 2-9 or 1-10. This is the worst team in the nation left playing football and it's a valid argument.. We won't even be able to compete with a team coached by our former failure Muschamp.. They would have to REALLY blow dick or turn it over against a defense impossible to turn it over against that never brings pressure or blitzes more than twice in a game..

Fact, Florida is still the ONLY team in the nation that hasn't recovered a single fumble on defense

If the QB situation is corrected I think we could contend pretty quick with Kelly. The only thing that makes me just a little hesitant that it is 100% him is Spurrier's comments about the person still coaching but maybe he was messing with people saying that.

Spurrier is either not really sure of the situation as of yesterday, or trolling deliberately, coming for THE guy that invented real life trolling before it was actually a thing.. This is the same guy that handed Dooley a card that had Tennessees pre season goals in 97 and marked everything off down from SEC Champs, East Champs, State Champs, knox county champs etc... There's never any telling with what he's going to say or actually meaning behind it to this day.. I mean MOST would assume it's a guy coaching a team already, there's a 90 plus % chance for most teams looking for a coach that's the case.. But also the same guy talked about reaching out first to a guy Stoops not coaching at all right now...

Nah he won't because Mac is leaving a dumpster fire on both lines and no QB but we won't be the most boring team in the nation to watch at a minimum.

True...his 'sins' are a bit over blown.
