I really don't understand the hype about Mullen

Sorry, my mistake. I just didn't pay attention past the Top 5 on the list.

But I can see why you'd want to deflect to past history instead of just manning up to present day facts... :p

But hey, let's just review 2016 too, since you brought it up... ;)

Fulmer Cup Standings – 2016
(1) Colorado 68 Pac-12
(2)t Georgia 30 SEC <<<<<<<<<
(2)t Notre Dame 30 Ind.
(4) Kentucky 19 SEC
(5) Chattanooga 18 SoCon
(6)t Alabama 16 SEC
(6)t Florida 16 SEC
(8) Hawai’i 15 MWC
(9)t Kansas 14 Big 12
(9)t Youngstown State 14 Missouri Valley

And you're #2 in 2019 also, so it seems that you do know your place in standings.
:D ROTF-LMFAO:D

Honestly? Do we really care about this? I’m talking to the uga people too. We’ve all recruited knuckleheads. We all have had guys arrested. It’s unavoidable. Maybe army, navy, Air Force, VMI, the citadel... they don’t have those issues. Anyone else has guys get in trouble. None of us are proud or happy about it, nor do we defend that behavior, except for f$u. They deserve the heat. Everyone else is just throwing rocks in a glass house. It’s not like kids who go to uga or UF are any better or worse behaved at their core than kids who go to Tennessee or Kentucky or Alabama. College kids do dumb stuff, and athletes aren’t any exception.

You forgot to highlight Florida in 2016

You’re not talking to the Georgia people, just insta. I called him out on a factual point. I don’t give a tiny baby shit about that stuff but he seems to.

And I was responding to this twit, not the Ginlosermutt twit that felt the need to butt in again.

Your team full of future prisoners will not beat UGA.

UF not in the Top 5, while UGly was/is Top 2, their favorite place to finish....:p

Now, back to this twits constant bs on the thread that he started here.

Thursday 6-13-19 -- "Dan Mullen built Mississippi State to a point where a bowl game is the floor of the program during his run with the Bulldogs, and immediately revitalized a Florida program that had been spinning its wheels for the better part of a decade. In 2018, Feleipe Franks had the best passing season by a Gator since Tim Tebow in 2009. If that's not proof of Mullen's value, I'm not sure what is." -- CBSSports.com

Certainly he should bring more consistency. His first 10-win season was evidence that he can work even with a roster with some real deficiencies and produce what most would consider a successful season. Mullen has firmed up the floor at Florida. Now it's just a matter of seeing how high the ceiling is as he continues to build out the foundation of the program.

There have been a few of you who brought it up. The guy who asked if we had more alums than murderers being the main one. But yeah, this is kind of like bad calls on the field to me... everyone gets their share and they tend to even out.

The Gator offense that had finished 109th, 107th and 100th (out of 129 teams) the 3 previous seasons, respectively, rocketed to 42nd in Mullen's 1st season. He became just the 3rd coach in college football history to win 10 games in a Power-5 program debut season after inheriting a team that won less than 5 games the year before. From a 4-7 cluster to 10-3 with a Top 10 Finish. o_O

For some contrast, 4th&Dumb took over a stable 10-3 program to go 8-5 in his 1st season at UGly.

So, is Dan also a QB Whisperer?
Here's the answer in Franks season output improvement.

2017 - 1,438 yards, 9 TD's, 7 Ints. - Finished 4-7 - Not ranked.
2018 - 2,457 yards, 24 TD's, 6 Ints - Finished 10-3, #6-t7 Final Rankings
~ Plus 350 rushing yards with 7 more TD's.

>>> I don't believe that even Franks' momma would have thought that level of improvement was forthcoming.

About time, with all those 3rd year players you'd hope they could find a way to beat inferior teams.

4th&Dumbs 1st class of 21 recruits were HIS guys and 3rd year players in his 3rd season at UGly. And 26 more were #1 Class 2nd year players.

Dan was coaching up the fired guys 4-7 players in his 1st year at UF. o_O

And you mean like beating #5 LSU by 8 pts, the week before they stomped the buttsniffers by 20 pts?

Or were you talking about beating #7 Mich by 26 pts, instead of losing to #15 Tx by a TD?

Oops! This is where they tell you they’re really, really young even though something like 13 of their 22 starters were upperclassmen.

Recruit really really well, and most of your team every year is going to be Fr and Soph's, because the really really good rsSo's and Jr's will be leaving for the NFL. Only the Sr's with little hope of making the NFL will still be around. It's called 'Kensucky Syndrome' in B-Ball.

JMOHO, but a good balance of the really good and some quality coach-able 3-4 stars that are there for a degree will make for a better and more consistent team. And I want 'team' players, not the prima-donna's that are only there for themselves.

Spurrier only won 1 NC in his 12 years at UF, but he's still the best coach in UF history, and if Dan turns out like Steve, I'll be just fine with that.

Our excuse was we came out flat and had some guys more worried about the draft than the game. When key guys take plays off, you're bound to suck as we did.

Now that's a perfect example of '4th&Dumb's' inspirational leadership for ya....

Getting your guys UP and ready to go is the prime responsibility of the HC. o_O
I guess the ole Beaver Cleaver buttsniffer ain't no pre-game Vince Lombardi.

It may soon be a reality if Kirby Dumb can't consistently equal what Mark Richt has accomplished, so its not as dumb as anything you post on here as well as your stupid ass responses.
Funny, considering he's already accomplished more than Richt ever did

The Retch = ZERO NC's

4th&Dumb = ZERO NC's

I dunno,,, they look pretty even to me... o_O

They think because he has played in the playoffs it makes him superior, as if 2002 UGA wouldn’t have been in the playoffs had they existed in ‘02. Flawed Dawg logic right there for ya.
I’m going to try to say this one more time for all of us.

Georgia didn’t fire Mark Richt for what he did in his first three seasons, or even his first 10. It was for the last 5. You can point to his 10-3 final season, but how many unranked 10 win teams can you remember in your lifetime? The energy was gone, he had stopped really caring. He told the team on the way out the door that rings gather dust. That’s why he was fired. Georgia fans are excited about the new energy. Yes, the win totals are the same, but Richt had to go. You all wish he had stayed a while longer, no way you can say otherwise.

For Dawgs, it’s a bit risky to go around making all these bold predictions. That stuff has a way of biting one in the ass. And it does make us seem even worse than Sakerlina fans when there hasn’t been a natty while every single one of our rivals has one. It’s better to sit back and wait for it to happen, then be the obnoxious assholes these guys already know us to be. While it looks really good right now, Kirby has some more learning to do. I don’t think Richt ever learned how to coach on game day. Maybe Kirby will, maybe he won’t. I prefer to keep the bold predictions to myself and just argue mundane points when they come up and throw in the occasional troll just to keep things moving along while we slog through the worst time of the year.

Wow an actual good and a logical post by a UGA fan. I agree with you about Richt. I actually think you can coach at a place too long and that fire starts to burn out. We’ve seen it happen to many coaches.

Message board 'popularity' among the small clic of circle jerking village idiots posting here is a goal for the Moe-Rons, but certainly not for the iG.... :p

Now, get back into your circle, and get on with your jerking...
