I really don't understand the hype about Mullen

Never been ? Man you gotta check it out. It's awesome I go on to see all the recruits we get. It's like xmas

The Noles do the same thing, and they like, in particular, to see shirtless pics of them. Do you do the same?

Christmas during the offseason and in the summer? Woo hoo? Too bad your last Christmas was when Herschel Walker won you a title. Woo hoo! January of 1981! Woo hoo!

MUST you bring that up? You know it upsets them to be reminded we have three times as many football titles as they do. And basketball, wow, don't even go there. Those panties of theirs wad right up when you compare relative success in THAT sport.

Might be the corniest troll job of all time. I bet you spend so much time laughing to yourself about how much you’re riling the board up.

just for the record yes UGA won a natty in this year congrats. However Florida won in 2017,2016, 2012 and shared the title in 2013. Again score board look up at it...
Never said they didnt. Read the conversation next time. UF has always had good track and field. I've been to the O'Connell center many times when Scott Peter's was running the 800m.

Spurs DID win 11 games twice at USC-E, so I wouldn't say he had a total lack of success.
He’s probably the best coach they’ve ever had there, and he would be at most places. He had success for sure, and certainly when compared to what they normally do, but for the sake of the argument being made, I think the point is the same

Hey look, no one told dan to go be head coach at msu. He had a good thing going. He should have waited for a great opportunity. Heck kirby had enough smarts to wait and learn from the best until he could capitalize and make his name.
I actually don’t disagree with this. I’m not really sure why he took the MSU job. But he did and as far as I can remember he’s the only coach to leave there on his own and take a better gig. That fact alone shows something. And the OPs point proves he’s a pretty damn good coach. I don’t remember them being close to #1 anytime before or since. Considering he played in a division that Has beaten Kirby 4x in 2 years, I’m not sure the uga fans here are really in a position to throw stones.

Yes, that is all we've heard from you Dawgs for months, about your amazing team and coach.
Well according to insta, and athlon, and what you all say dan should win it all correct? I mean if he is this super play caller and all that.

The talent to do it now is there. All these conference allstars and what not. I love it. This year should be his to make his name.

The difference is, Kirby always relied on a safety net when it involved recruiting. No way Kirby would have done squat at Duke, Mississippi State or at South Carolina.
Hell, how about you guys consider Mike Bobo when the Kirby hype dries out? Bobo would have accomplished the same feat at Georgia.
This might be THE dumbest statement I've read in a month or so LMAO

You left out the national title game and the Rose Bowl along with recruiting which Richt couldn't touch

It may soon be a reality if Kirby Dumb can't consistently equal what Mark Richt has accomplished, so its not as dumb as anything you post on here as well as your stupid ass responses.

I really don't understand the hype about Mullen

I posted this elsewhere, but I'm thinking that the nuttlicker twit that started this thread needs to have it shoved up his nose on his thread.

Among coaches in their first year at programs in 2018, Florida Gators head coach Dan Mullen was the pick of the litter according to Athlon Sports. The publication, which ranked he jobs done by the coaches of all 21 programs that made the change, tabbed the job Mullen did as the best. “The Gators improved in every facet of the game in Mullen’s first season and are on the verge of returning to national relevance,” the publication stated.

Advanced Statistics for all the 2018 SEC Teams, in what they call “Advanced Stats: The 5 Factors”.
The five factors involved are Field Position, Efficiency, Explosiveness, Finishing Drives, and Turnovers.

The ability to be successful to a great extent in all of these categories in the toughest conference in America, shows that Mullen is running an entire ship and not just some successful offensive parts. 1st year Dan's Gators were the only team in the SEC to finish in the top four of every category. o_O

Some others of interest among the 21 Newbees:
1/21 Mullen UF
3/21 Fisher aTm
9/21 Pruitt Tenn
10/21 Moorhead MsSt
12/21 Kelly UCLA
17/21 Luke Ole Ms
21/21 Taggart FSUcks

And speaking of 'Well-Rounded' under Mullen's coaching...o_O

Incredible Balance in the offense in Dan's first year:

Rushing 2,771 yds - 23 TD's
Passing 2,776 yds - 28 TD's
Combined 5,547 - 51 TD's

And so, iG's wish-goal for the team in 2019 is 3,000 x 2. with 55 TD's
(if ST's can come up to snuff, then 60 TD's) ;)

And here's another item to Dan's long list of credits...

Last year, Mullen helped Franks make the largest-efficiency leap in the Power 5 of any starter (nearly 30 points in QBR!) and by season’s end, Franks was winning MVP honors at a New Year’s 6 Bowl game. Given the historical progression of second-year starting QBs under Dan Mullen, a Peach Bowl MVP could be just the beginning for Franks and the Florida offense.

Is 2016 part of never?

Sorry, my mistake. I just didn't pay attention past the Top 5 on the list.

But I can see why you'd want to deflect to past history instead of just manning up to present day facts... :p

But hey, let's just review 2016 too, since you brought it up... ;)

Fulmer Cup Standings – 2016
(1) Colorado 68 Pac-12
(2)t Georgia 30 SEC <<<<<<<<<
(2)t Notre Dame 30 Ind.
(4) Kentucky 19 SEC
(5) Chattanooga 18 SoCon
(6)t Alabama 16 SEC
(6)t Florida 16 SEC
(8) Hawai’i 15 MWC
(9)t Kansas 14 Big 12
(9)t Youngstown State 14 Missouri Valley

And you're #2 in 2019 also, so it seems that you do know your place in standings.
:D ROTF-LMFAO:D
