It probably does in this case. South Alabama beat Miss State last season so they would probably have no problem beating an LSU team that got destroyed by Miss State this season and that loss to Troy.

As soon as LSU lost to Troy I knew we were done with this staff being expected to just roll over a team that wasn't even close to the same team that came in and played against us with an entirely different roster returning.. and doing it with Muschamp/Pease type coaching and laughable window dressing to run nothing but simple QB draws, dump offs and ****ing jet sweeps... Flat out pathetic and inexcusable loss that we all should have seen coming.. This staff is a flat out joke and needs to get the hell out of here, we don't need more close losses, we need some more beat downs and they are coming so don't get your hopes up over the next month.. UGA is gonna make it closer than it should be because they always play scared and safe against us to keep us around and then something funky happens.. A&M plays anything near the same energy level as last weekend, we will get waxed.. Simply waxed out there, the fact that the total for the game tomorrow night is 50, says it all.. When was the last time any Gator game had a total that high? We have had the lowest totals on the board for about 7-8 years running, they are gonna score a lot and too much for our awful coached offense and idiot driskel vol. 2 QB to keep up with in the end...Better pray for some fluky turnovers because this defense can't cause them on their own anymore with how they play soft zones and never bring enough pressure to win on first downs.. You cannot cause turnovers when teams forever are in 2nd and 6's at worst, and 3rd and 2's or better and short, you can't dial up anything to get off the field much less force bad throws or fumbles to turn the other team over.. The crowd noise better hope that helps our defenses chances for their young QB to lose some on first downs and set them up for some 3rd and longs which this defense needs like we haven't needed in years because we don't cause them...
