Agree. Trump's issue was his attorneys never knew what the crime they were defending until the judge's juror instruction. And he had a biased judge and jury. Other than that.....
His jury instructions listed three categories of crimes and violations the jury could.pick from with no single statute listed.
They never had to prove the elements of any specific predicate crime nor prove one beyond a reasonable doubt. Plus all three were federal violations that the responsible federal bodies said were not crimes.
The whole thing was a due process nightmare.
