If you want to call them idiots, I won't disagree, as long as it's understood that 90% of all 18-22 year olds are idiots. But shooting BB guns, unless shot at people or animals, is simply not sufficient to call them thugs, or take schollys away. But they all get enough rope to hang themselves, and these two have already used some of it up. Will have to be a little more careful moving forward.

It's the 2-3% that cause 95% of the bad actions.
I don't know if anyone was standing behind the 3 windows that got shot out, do you? But broken glass and BB's flying around is not just a joke imo.
I never thought that they would have their ships pulled, nor did I advocate for that to happen, I just said that I wouldn't blink if they were. Mc will decide their 'instruction' and any 'discipline,' so we can all just relax and see what happens.
I was mighty disappointed, mostly because of it's affect on the entire team.
And I had high hopes for both of them in the coming season.

Im not talking about athletes, I mean them all.
Some shoot bb guns. Some drink to excess. Some get knocked up (or knock someone up). But one way or another, the vast majority make foolish choices. Most of those choices, fortunately, end up with minimal consequences. How many of us don't have something we can look back on and say "Wow that was a dumb thing I did. I was lucky it didn't blow up in my face".
As with most things LG, it's a matter of degree and of age.
You can't put all dumb choices in the same category imo.
I also made some dumb choices with a BB gun, but it was in the 10 to 13 age range, not as a ship player for a top University when I was 18-19....
And even at 13, I wasn't given a 'young guy' pass, I got my butt tore up.
Consequences can alter behavior sometimes, so again, we'll see....
Mc says 'freedom of choice,' but 'not freedom from consequences.'
We'll just have to wait and see if whatever those consequences are, are enough to alter their future choices. I've done my part with what's available to me, the verbal barbs and indignation.
