Heartbreak for the dems: Dow closes up over 1,100 points for 2nd time in March

Shockingly....CNN didn't mention the YUGE day for the stock market on its Twitter feed.

But they did say this....

So if you get your news from CNN, like every dem here, then you have no idea what happened in the stock market today. But you know what tomorrow's futures are looking like. According to CNN.

This is why Sheep stay idiots. Garbage In, Garbage Out.

So tell me again how is all this sh$t Trump’s fault? There is not a damn thing we can do besides shut down the entire Country to control this virus. It’s a highly contagious flu and people are acting like idiots.

What’s going to happen is going to be blamed on trump due to his complete lack of preparedness, which reflected either mind boggling incompetence or a deliberate purpose to avoid knowing how the virus was spreading early. Three weeks in and we’ve tested 8000 people. We’re at the bottom of the world in testing per capita. As a result of this demonstrable incompetence he’s going to take the blame for the entire shitstorm to come.

Interesting how the narrative has already shifted from “its not that big a deal” to “trump has it under control” to “its so bad nobody could have done anything to stop it.” So you peckerwoods do know what’s coming.

He instituted a travel ban to China a MONTH ago.

dems called him racist when he did and said he was overreacting.

Now they say he was totally unprepared.

Trump is always going to be blamed because dems hate Trump more than they love America. Let's not overthink this.

Next thing they'll tell us we're racist for not wanting to eat at Chinese restaurants. Oh wait! What's this?

Well well well...

Remember how yesterday CNN completely ignored the YUGE day for the stock market on his Twitter stream?

Look what they tweeted today at the market's open:

Actual, in convertible proof that CNN is giving the sheep like @urtren @BSC911 and @bradleygator literally HALF THE STORY.

Lying by omission is still lying. Now that sheep know they are being lied to by CNN, what will they do with this information?

A critical thinker would no longer get information from a source that lied to them.

We all know what sheep would do. That's why they are sheep.

you mean like you posting on gains yesterday but posting today at 1:30 and leaving out that the market was down 1,400 points? Or congratulating Trump for two 1,100 point days in March but omitting the fact that the markets down 3,400 points for the month?

is that the type of misinformation you’re referring to?

It is interesting, and they are correct. NO one could have seen this coming in the US. No one.
Got it, peckerwood?

well the South Koreans didn’t see it coming either but they already have testing capacity per day that exceeds what we’ve tested total. As a result, they’re on the downside of this thing and we’re just entering it.

That's exactly the type of misinformation I'm referring to.

So you CAN spot it, you just choose to ignore it when it comes from a source you want to believe in.

That was what I wanted to confirm. That you're a sheep.

Are you suggesting we're a mess because we don't have 330 million test kits?
Newsflash...more authoritarian governments can line 'em up and tell 'em what to do...USA?
Not so much...

Do you think South Korea is an authoritarian government? How sad for you.

And Trump’s on air talking about 8.5 billion to the CDC and a $50 billion dollar package overall. Hey dipshit... spend some of that money to make our testing capacity adequate and expand our available icu beds. We’re only three months into this thing.

Did they test for the bird flu, west Nile. SARS with the mush-limb President?

I'm disappointed, yet not surprised that you interpreted my post as saying SK is authoritarian...although I should have said comparatively speaking, they are more authoritarian than the US. Most countries are.
Did the CDC ask months ago for more money for covid19 test kits and get directly shot down by the President? When did the POTUS get a line item veto?
Does all spending not originate in the House? Did they refuse?
I think the ramp up is now going very well.

That's his latest talking point that he can repeat but can't explain or defend.

OMG we need testing kits!!! Testing kits will save us from.....the flu.

These people are morons that hate Trump more than they love America. They are openly cheering on the potential destruction of the US economy, so we can elect a guy with onset dementia.

Uhm this stuff is absolutely stupid and I try not to insult anyone. BUT you dont order millions of test kits 6 weeks ago when you had less than a dozen people in the US who had the virus. Nor should you panic or over hype this thing. Based on CURRENT knowledge the reaction is an over reaction. Should the death rate of those between 12-49 go through the roof then I would say shut everything down. I am 50.

If this becomes more widespread then the focus should be on the vulnerable not the entire 330M population. People are going to shop Walmart. target, Costco, Kroger etc because they have to. People are going to pump gas and touch the nozzle because they have to. I use hand sanitizer and have been long before this illness. People are going to walk through an area where someone sneezed and hr ago and not know it. ( Current info is it stays airborne for 3 hrs.) Unless the data changes more people will die of flu alone or car wrecks alone this year.

Trump is not a Dr and it would have been up to the CDC to have ordered the kits. Its on them not him. And as i said I dont blame them either for not ordering a bunch of kits for a virus that is mild for 90% of the people who get it and dont even go to the Dr or clinic . They will now ramp this up.

This is nothing but Rahm Emmanuel politics at its worst and I can only hope for justice that the democrats go down in a crushing defeat this fall for the sake of the country.

I also hope the pubs get enough new blood that they have people of action enter the arena and that the platform issues get more than lip service.

This AM, markets are down 24%. My stocks portfolio at Edward Jones is down 8%. I'm moving half to bonds. I'm doing okay so far. If we can get a handle on the virus by October, it's Boom City for America and cry me a river for Dimms.

who the hell is talking about 300 million testing kits? How about enough tests so that people showing symptoms can be tested?

“You put it out in the public and a physician asks for it and you get it. The idea of anybody getting it easily, the way people in other countries are doing it, we’re not set for that,” Fauci said. “Do I think we should be? Yes, but we are not.”

BTW this is the same guy that said yesterday that the death rate from corona flu was only 1%, FAR LESS than originally predicted.

@bradleygator didn't want to talk about that, just like he doesn't mention here that Dr. Fauci added that the system has NEVER been set up for mass testing.

Some people are saying 100 million in the US might be infected. Gov. DeSantis said this morning in his Miami press conference that the US was distributing about 700,000 among 50 states. 14K per state or proportionally he didn't say. That's not enough.
UF Shands is developing their own, Cleveland Clinic, Mayo, Northwell Health System in NY, all developing their own.
This country has resources like no other.

So if we are to credit Trump for the rise in stock markets, should he be held accountable for the steep declines??

What are you, some kind of reasonable, even-minded person? Praised for gains, held accountable for losses? Madness!

Let's employ some simple critical thinking.

Why is the market falling? Fears over coronavirus.

Is Trump responsible for the fears over the coronavirus?

If you think he is, then you blame him for the collapse.

Seems pretty simple to me.

Bonus question for you: Is it possible for Trump to be responsible for the gains, and not responsible for the losses?

His response to the crisis will certainly affect how the markets react.

Trump has essentially staked America’s economic performance during his presidency as the primary rationale for his re-election. There are socially conservative reasons to vote for Trump as well, but a nosediving economy literally trumps everything else.

I’m not a Trump fanboy by any stretch; only my intense dislike for the Democratic platform makes a vote for Trump evenly remotely plausible.

So you're blaming Trump for this.

An undeniable truth: Trump is not a plantation cracker. Pastor Scott believes Trump is best for black America in his lifetime. I agree.

mmmhmmm. Pastor Scott probably doesn’t have shit in his 401(k).

Didn't you say something about revisiting threads? We'll be revisiting almost everything you've gleefully posted this week come the end of Summer when the dow is back to 30K and Trump is still your president.
