Ah, he was saying the ventilators that were not being used had been redirected to China. Therefore, the cupboard was bare but was restocked within weeks.
Read slowly...everyone, especially the left, thought that we were short of many things, especially ventilators, based on our fears and miscalculations as the pandemic ratcheted up in this country. It turned out that we didn't need as many as we thought nor did we need the hospital space that we first feared.
The issue was there and it was certainly serious and then it turned out that the "experts" and fear mongers were wrong. So now you and your fact checkers call Trump a liar based on revisionist history.
You do get that Trump did not know that the extra ventilators wouldn't be needed when the order was given to produce them, right? No one else knew either.
