The men came up huge today. Frosh Anders Eriksson placed 5th in the Hammer and Keandre placed 3rd in the long jump. In the semi-finals, the 4x100 team placed 4th with a season best 38.83,the 4x400 team placed 1st, in the 400, Hall ran a season best 45.19 to place 2nd, Najee Glass placed 4 with a season best and Kunle Fasisi placed 6th and in the 400H Eric Futch placed 1st with a season best and TJ Holmes placed 4th with a career best. Ryan Clark came up just a bit short in the 100 running a 10.25, while Yanick Hart placed 16th in the 110 HH. Even better Texas A&M did not qualify anyone in the 400 or pole vault, which is huge. Florida is on pace to score 56, which may be enough to win. Bates will have a shot in the triple jump as well. I was predicting only 42 points, with Texas A&M at 70, but coming into the meet they were 1st in the 400 and 2nd in the pole vault; they will score o, a loss of 18 points, which would leave them at 52. We have a great shot of winning!
