What do you think is the recruiting impact of having our face kicked in every week by mid level SEC teams?
Should have given 3NG a raise and extension.
Keeping Grantham would have shown we don't really give a crap. I can't see that attracting anyone.
Would Muschamp consider coming back as DC? I never hated the guy, I just don't want him even conversing with anyone on the other side of the ball.
I've thought of that. Great defensive recruiter.
Has anyone ever come back to assist at a school where they were HC and got fired?
Don't know. But it would put him back into the same pay scale when he was at Texas, and give him a second chance at success at a place that is a hotbed for defensive talent.
I don't see that happening and I don't remember any that did at a power 5 team.
We didnt have to fire him. He went to the ville when Pigtrino went back. Dawgs fans rejoiced. He had about 1-2 good years. The rest was a disaster very similar to what you are seeing now.
We weren't even getting the dominant games from him that much starting in 2020. Don't remember exactly what he did at Georgia but at Louisville he had dominant games with about 2 - 3 a year the defense just fell apart - kind of like here in 2018. I guess in 2019 he only had a bad game to LSU who was unstoppable.
My main memory is UF-uga game where we converted some crazy number like 15 of 16 3rd downs.
Was that in 2010 because a lot of people think he was there in 2014 when we jumbo packaged Georgia to death but he had already moved on by then.
It was an overtime game. Can't remember the exact year.
Yep 2010 was the OT game we scored quite a bit but we didn't have a great 3rd down % that game. I think a lot of drives we did stay out of many 3rd downs however.
That was probably the same game he made the choke signal to your kicker just before he nailed a long FG

Currently the Safeties coach for the NY Jets.
Growing up in Miami, he should be ready to get out of cold NY.
And he should be able to recruit well in S.FL.

Move Wesley McGriff up to DC from Safeties.
Or
Paul Pasqualoni if you want to go Old/Experienced.
OL Brent Key- Solid coach and recruiter with a decade spent in central FL.
But personally, I don't care if Socialist-U hires Bevis and Butthead to fill the slots...

Rip off the Band-Aid, Grantham should have been fired last year...period. John H is a great coach but the OLine has looked like trash the last 4 games and he's not much of a recruiter. I pray to the maker that we replace these guys with some guys who can pull in top notch talent and coach.
