As a doctor that directly takes care of coronavirus patients in the intensive care unit who’s connected with the state disaster network I sometimes get prior warning on where things are going. I’m in a conservative red state and we’re about to get shut down hard. Particularly true and liberal cities. Be prepared for:
Massive shut downs in the service industry
Mask mandates
A whole hell of a lot of working from home.

Our civic bureaucrats, most of whom lean liberal even in red states, have been in bold and. In New Orleans for example, they’re about to shut everything down again for the restaurants. Very few restaurants will survive this time. They were barely coming back and starting to break even again.

this will lead to massive layoffs in the service industry. Which will be incredibly destructive in a place like New Orleans. I have several friends that we’re surviving off of the enhanced unemployment checks they’re no longer getting that really just want to job.

it’s a damn shame because all it’s gonna do is delay the next surge. And they’ll just shut it down again when that happens. Amazing what Americans vote for. Amazing How much the main stream media influences millions of Americans still.

Soooo I wonder who’s going to pay for all this because we’re about to take a hit. I hope I’m wrong but that’s the signals I’m getting from the emails I received.

It’s always the bureaucracy you need to fear. They are the unelected people that are given power by our elected people. There’s no check in balance on bureaucracy. The first time I went to Japan after joining the Navy (way back when) I was somewhat surprised at what I saw. People were using binjou ditches for their sewerage system, little kids 3 and 4 years old were actually working alongside their parents and it was not uncommon to see folks scrounging for food out of garbage bins. Under the leadership (?) of liberals, Americans might should study how Japanese citizens learned to survive. If what you are saying is actually carried out across our nation, it could get nasty. Most of our population doesn't have a clue about hard times. I don't want to hear any of their whining.

I'm not saying getting a vaccine is a bad thing, but I'm afraid it'll be used as leverage to take more control and push the economy back down...esp if the election results favor Trump.

Yep and in my usually conservative panhandle city, we've got a mayor who loves these two words: Code Red. I've mentioned this before that mask wearing will not end this crisis.

They still DO NOT know how it's spread, but I do. It's spread in the air AND by touch, and between the two, the touch is the real problem. Going into any story that mandates masks, what do we do? We touch the same damn cc machines that hundreds have touched before you. "I need your signature please," the attendant says. So we grab the same unsanitized pen that hundreds before me used. How many things do we touch in the stores? Do we shut down all stores? We went into SAM'S and were obedient mask wearers as they requested. Then on check out I grab the scanner that has not, and is never, sanitized.

This whole mask wearing crap is to keep us in line as puppets or sheep people. Let's face it. Covid is around and will be around for a long time. Get used to it. That's life in the real world now. I still can't help but believe the democrats had a hand in this in order to get Trump out.
