Elon Musk Should Privatize UF

I've got no idea why you are responding to me I wasn't responding to any comment you made. If so, I would respond directly with a quote and/or reply of what you said and you would 100% know it.

And can I recognize sarcasm on a internet forum with typewritten language only, no facial expressions or tone of voice, and I don't know the person making the comment? No, frequently I can't. And most people would have trouble in those circumstances. You can use an emoji if you are trying to communicate sarcasm if you are communicating something that could be sarcasm or not when just looked at as a short, typewritten comment without much context.

Reading your first post, which I had to go back and find and read in the first place, I don't even understand half of it. And it isn't my reading comprehension that is the problem.
Clearly because you cannot recognize sarcasm
😝😝😝

Whoa…what a bad take and over generalization! I’m going to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you are using “selfish” incorrectly.
Or maybe he’s developed the new generation definition of selfish which is if you don’t give me some of your wealth whether I do something for you or not you are selfish

I don’t think so. When we’re talking about getting to richest person in the world status, it takes a certain type of mentality. You don’t get there by being generous or without being cutthroat.

Just like you don’t get to MJ/Kobe level of basketball without that type of mentality.

Nah, don’t care about that stuff and definitely not what I’m getting at.

Well, it’s a mystery it does, why don’t you tell us what you’re trying to get at? He’s selfish because he’s successful? He’s selfish because he provides thousands of jobs with high paying salaries for other people? Salvage because he doesn’t give enough money to charities? Help us understand.

You don’t get to that level of wealth by being a good and generous person. You get to it by putting yourself, your company profits, and your companies first and ahead of all others regardless of who gets screwed over on the way. Not much more to it than that.

I know plenty of people who are selfish that give tons to charities for selfish reasons. Charity has nothing to do with it.

No...not true. PARTLY true. You can be tough as hell and protect your business and still treat your people well. In fact, I do not see a way to do it without doing so. Business people are a different breed...but saying all are bad people is ridiculous stereotyping

I’m not saying all business people are bad lmao. I work with tons of small and medium sized business owners on a daily basis, plenty are great.

I’m saying it takes being a bad/selfish person to get to the level of wealth Musk achieved. That’s all.

I think I get what you are trying to communicate. I still think that is a bit harsh. Their priorites are different than non business owners for sure. Their business comes first, where our families do to us. I worked for the best businessman (he passed away 3 years ago) for 35 years, became VERY close to him. I asked him about this ne time, and like you...I thought he was just being tougher because oof bottom line in his pockets. His answer as to why he was so tough actually surprised me. He said " I have 100 employess counting on me to feed their families, if I do not keep them gainfully employed, that is on me". I still work here, and have for 38 years. We have MANY long term employees in an industry known for high turnover. We ALL LOVED him and his family, despite him being TOUGH AS HELL on us. I just do not buy in to the part that they are bad/selfish. HOWEVER I am NOT familiar to being around someone like Musk that is a MULTI billionaire, so you may be spot on!

Who musk? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. Naaah. That is a stttttttttttrrrrrrrrrrreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeetttttttttttccccccccccchhhhhhhh. He invested his $$$ into tesla and space x. That is more visionary.

I can name 3 or more intelligent folks on this site alone.
Lol, no offense but this has now become the dumbest post in the history of the board. I'll just assume you're joking.

So much assumptions you make about someone you don't know..... Seems silly to me but it's your right

I ll assume you have not used google in a few years. Elon Musk is not close to what you said.

You actually think he was the "brains" i.e. the creator behind the tech developments in his companies.

Please tell me you don't think it was EM behind the creation of, and by that I mean the actual engineer(s) who actually invented the products etc of Tesla, Space X or Starlink.

I have a secret, he didnt. He invested in Tesla and the did a hostile take-over. As for Space X and Starlink, I can bet he was not one of the developers of the rocket science/building of the rockets or the developer of the technology behind Starlink.

But hey... keep on believing what you want. But fyi, there is a vaccine out there that helps with your allergic reaction to Google.com

It’s human nature to make assumptions based on our learned life experiences and patterns that we recognize.

Human nature is not exactly a great way to make your life decisions, humans are animals and prone to destructive behavior. If only there were a saying about assumptions 🤔🤔🤔

what I was hinting at there is that you’re doing the same thing with assumptions on Musk, just in the opposite way

Actually no I'm not.... What assumption was made? I'm simply questioning yours. I'm alot better read on Elon Musk than probably 95% of the general public, I certainly don't need to "Google" him. If I cared enough to, I could cite numerous very specific example of behaviors that refute your assumptions. That being said, your generalizations come with no basis of actual behavior or evidence, you simply say "you must be this way to have accomplished this." It's a ridiculous argument to be honest, but you are dying on this hill. I'm done with the conversation, you believe what you like.

You actually think he "created" the technology behind what is Tesla? Well, no, he didn't. He invested in Tesla.

You think he "created" the technology used in Space X, i.e, the rockets, the guidance systems, the delivery systems, the shielding used on the vehicles to protect them? Or just maybe it was the ex- NASA employees and other engineers.

Same with Sky Link....

He is a saavy investor. But no where close to being one of tge 2 or 3 most intelligent folks in the world.

Your comment comes off as a little self-reflection as far as this subject is concerned.

Just admit you are influenced/enamored by how much $$$ he has.
