When we curb stomped Florida in 2017 all we heard from Florida players was that they didnt play their best game and didnt acknowledge the fact that they flat out got beat from start to finish. That's how you invalidate getting beat, like you said.
So? Everybody in sports says that. It's the mentality they cultivate . If you don't believe you are the best then you don't belong on the field. Now as a fan I can look at the play and say Georgia had better players on both sides in 2017. Your guys were better than our guys.
Kirby Smart said his team was one of the four best and had the best shot at beating Alabama. Said they made alot of mental mistakes. I'm sure he said the same after Texas whooped your butt too. Your players probably said they didnt play their best game and they didnt . Texas was better that day, if they played again the next week I'm sure the Georgia players would go into that game still thinking they were better.

We've never led in May. You haven't been paying attention (in your defense I think you did actually say that). It matters to all teams regardless if their respective fans agree or not. I'm pretty sure there was some banter on here last year as well and I said talk to me in Dec/Feb.

Conference titles have been seriously devalued. Can you seriously say sit there and say you were content with falling short of a National Title? With all that talent you've accumulated all you have to show is two SEC championships this century. You guys beat a an eventual 4 loss Auburn team to claim the one two years ago.
For a program like Missisippi State or South Carolina that would be great. Not for the mighty Bulldogs though. I guarantee you Alabama fans aren't satisfied with their teams accolades last year. You are in their weight class right?

As far as talent and future results.....I like our chances .
I don't pay attention to the recruits as much anymore, but Georgia fans flap their gums every Spring about how incredible their recruiting is. But again, suddenly this year there's silence. If Georgia ever passes Florida, suddenly that will change and we all know why.

The last 4 games the Gators are so quick to point to as a source for hope are a come from behind win ov UofSC, a beating of a bad FCS Idaho, the worst FSU team in 40 years and Mich's B team after 15 or so decided to sit out the bowl.
As for as being on an opposing team's free message board, you of all people have zero room to say anything, you spent years on UT's free board spewing your trash.
Surely you aren't dumb enough to think Georgia won't pass UF. UF only has 3 more commitments and leads us by 150 points. Hell if you have anyone on your list we want we will take him, like we did Beck. Must really suck to know Elam would be heading to Athens if we had room for him.

Well I stand corrected. You can get together with Pitt fans and trade stories about their 1976 title and reminisce about Jimmy Carter.
A coach that knows how to finish a season on a 4 game win streak after back to back beatdowns. The mighty Idaho Vandals 0 and 6 on the road was first proof that he can finish. South Carolina NoGameindemcocks 2 and 3 on the road was laying it on, causing the home crowd to boo the QB whisperer's boy, until the QB took the game over with some, "I'll show you plays" as he was saying(with his play) FU to the UF fans. Final score 34-31. Next up was the mighty Nole's who were truly the best team this University has fielded in the history of the program finishing 5-7. They did have a winning home record, scheduling some of the weakest teams in college football. Then there was Michigan, they finished with a 10 and 3 record. The Michigan program knows how to finish. In their last 24 bowl games, they've won 4(3 against UF) and lost 20. Georgia's 2 game losing streak was a close loss to the #1 team in the country, which until the Georgia game, had only trailed for a few minutes the entire season, however trailed up until the final minute of this game. Georgia came out flat against a 9 and 4 Texas team that was better than their record. Georgia had key players sit out due to injury and done bypassing the bowl game to go to the NFL. Texas jumped on Georgia early, but had to hold on for a 28-21 win. Georgia's two losses came from a playoff team and a team that beat a playoff team. Florida's 4 game win streak was to teams that finished 4-7, 7-6, 5-7, 10-3, overall 26-23. Georgia's two game losing streak was to teams that finished 14-1 and 10-4 overall 24-5. So UF beat 4 teams that had 26 wins between them at the eand of the college football season, however Georgia lost to two teams with 24 wins between them. Georgia also had to play an extra game, which resulted in the team being beatup.

Not the point. The point is you Dawgs have flapped your gums every May about recruiting rankings under Kirby and how it was going to immediately translate into NC and it proved that Kirbs was Nick Saban Jr.
This year....suddenly talking recruiting rankings in May isn't so fun for you. We all know why.

Georgia fans have started more discussions about 5-star RBs picking Clemson over Florida than they have current recruiting rankings.

Yo Einstein, last June we were ranked 67 in the recruiting rankings. The sky was falling and gums weren't yapping.
Yeah Texas is better than their record, I guess Maryland was too since they beat Texas and narrowly lost to Ohio State. Yet Michigan destroyed them and we destroyed Michigan. So Michigan was much better than their record and we dismantled them. Imagine how badly Georgia would have lost to us......Blah blah blah.
Zero titles in your lifetime will cause you to grasp for straws and what ifs I guess.
But they almost won against their daddy, I guess having never seen an actual on field National Title has lowered their expectations.
Don't tell them that Alabama isn't going anywhere, or that the program that owned them in the 90s and 2000s doesn't have a frog or a donkey leading them anymore.
I actually thought they were going to win it all when they played Alabama two years ago. The Tua came in and well Saban won another championship. I readily admit Georgia has owned us the last two years. Just like Florida State owned us prior to last year. I'm not barking about us outrecruiting or beating them this year. Until we beat them I will defer and let them crow, but they need to know they are not on Alabama's level. Beat them and then crow. They don't seem to understand this for some reason.
