George Washington Deserves His Own Day

"Of course, not all presidents deserve a holiday, and given the distinction of being the first, coupled with what he accomplished and established during his remarkable life, it’s an easy case to make that of all our presidents, George Washington is most deserving of this honor. "

My God...how did you leave the peanut farmer off this list! LOL

I give him a pass...he had enough balls to almost single handedly stop Hitler by going against what about 65% of the public wanted (in secret) and prepared us to enter the war...or it may have had a different outcome

Agree...he was the wrong man at the right time and it worked.

Though I am pretty much a virulent anti-conspiracy type of guy, I do believe that FDR and his admin knew about the attack on Pearl Harbor weeks before December 7th, if not longer.

The Empire of Japan gifted FDR a mandate for war against nazi Germany. There was no way he was going to refuse that gift at the expense of several outdated battleships...and a few thousand citizens.
