Offer Lamar Jackson? What a colossal f*ck up by all of us not to get his ass at our school.
Gators went through years of shit QB and this prodigy savior down the road in Boynton Beach had to flee for Louisville....
Not at all. Trask was ranked lower than Lamar. Coaches find players regardless of what rankings us couch potatoes look at. Regardless of his rank, he was a baller in high school. Was probably passed on due to size and/or expectation he'd be a receiver/returner in college. The three star QB who was the 409th best recruit in the nation?
Had you posted this in 2015, man it would be impressive today. Now it's more like complaining that we should have chosen the right numbers in the lottery back then.
We've had several talented QB's...bad coaching and no player development. Driskel would have killed it under Mullen. Chump and Butter Teeth screwed it up...oh that guy Grier and Brissett...pretty good as well.Offer Lamar Jackson? What a colossal f*ck up by all of us not to get his ass at our school.

I would have loved to see Will Grier play under Spurrier back in the day. Imagine THOSE numbers. He could have come close to Danny Wuerffel.Oh I would have loved to have seen Mullen coach Will Grier.
I would say this is correctIf Lamar Jackson would have played for Mac and Mus, he would have sucked...
until he transferred...
Grier is the type of player you hope to get every few years. Mac was an idiot on how he handled that. Partially I'm glad that he did because he was never right for UF.I would have loved to see Will Grier play under Spurrier back in the day. Imagine THOSE numbers. He was about to commit to Muschamp till he got canned. I do remember Butters trying to recruit him. Ultimately Lamar made the right choice by going to Louisville rather than playing for Butters. Hell, I can't blame Dalvin Cook for choosing FSU over UF.Muschamp wanted him at Corner if I remember right so he was never coming here.
The Grier thing was the thing that defined Mac’s tenure...oh and the shark f-ing photo question response at SEC media days:.:
