Gavin Newsom suckers Calif. blacks again. "Reparations are more than cash payments"

I guess the anger toward blacks is okay when it comes from white AND black liberals toward black conservtive/republicans through smears, name calling and intimidation simply because those black conservatives dared to leave the reservation. I don't hear Mr. race expert calling any fouls on that anger toward blacks. Gee, I wonder why.

You chastise white people for discussing black people with other white people...as though they aren't allowed or should not.

Then another poster engages you and you say you aren't rehashing this.

Make up your mind or stop preaching at people. We don't need your permission to discuss issues. Even if some of those issues involve people with varying skin tones. If that's a problem for you then it's your problem...stop projecting it onto others.
Oh Bama,

My post wasn't towards WHITE people, it was towards Orangeclad. My post literally said YOU, not y'all.

I have no idea why you always jump in to defend conservative people. It's so odd. You even said WE like I was talking about y'all, so odd.

I have engage with people on race like, fsu, yourself, evil, navi, etc.

Orange doesn't like to engage, he just likes to talk to us and tell us what he heard about us from other white people.

I am talking about YOU! YOU! YOU!

You don't like black people, so just leave us alone.

Honest question...is there a difference between not liking black people and not liking what I will call inner city American black culture? I dont see these as being the same thing. I served in the military with some great black men....but I dont like the inner city culture

Bama, it is definitely his problem which is why I refuse to engage with that liar any more.

On their own? Black people are not?

Every single race complain about issues within America. It is only a problem when black people complain. White people vote for democrats too but conservatives like to beat down black people when they vote for democrats. come on, pay attention.
But the Democrat elites and puppet masters MUST keep the black vote in order to stay in power, so predictably they trot out the B Team of elites who are usually Black at election time to make more promises and talk about how Republicans want to send Black people back to the “plantation” even though Reconstruction and the early Post Civil War days were a time when freedmen were being elected by Republicans and the Civil Rights Act was pushed by Republicans 100 years later.
You really are too young to understand how much things have changed in this country - so long overdue. You didn’t grow up in segregation like your parents and grandparents. You hear their stories but then you go out the door to a world they knew. That I saw as a child.
You can’t seem to see for yourself that once elections are over loyal Black Dems are ignored in the Democratic Party. Rep. Clyburn is treated as an afterthought when it was he who pushed Biden up and over by getting him the primary win in SoCar. Why do Blacks put up with THAT?

It's clear that he has no evidence in what I have written to substantiate his accusations toward me or he would lay them out.

You nailed it. I have said for years that the democrat party is much more interested in black VOTES than the black voters themselves. The party takes blacks for granted. Every black person in this country should be outraged that a president of the United States would tell a black man you ain't black if you don't vote for me. You would deny a person's race based on how they would vote? Epitomy of racism.

PERFECT example, there is always a focus on why black people shouldn't vote for democrats but not on why they do from the most on the right.

Every party tout out people from a demographic. The Rs hired Michael Steele because he was black. Tim Scott was appointed Senator because he was black. Clarence Thomas was nominated because he was black. Both sides play that game.

The Rs ignore black people for too long in regards to policies and pandering to. Yes, the Rs pander to other races. Every party pander to someone. Even Trump (who you dislike) said that the Rs ignored black people and it's time to change that

I know the history of democrats with black people. It is not good. Do you also know that the philosophy and beliefs of the Democrats changed since then. The new philosophy of the democrats is more align to what the Rs USE to be. If this was 1930/40 you would be a democrat. The Rs were about change, inclusion, better gun laws and funny reparations'. The democrats was against all if that.

The southern strategy started the change for black people.

Black people doesn't put up with anything and it's a lie to say that they get pushed aside. The 2 things the black community wanted the most were police reform and voting rights. Biden tried but the Rs filibustered it. We see that too.

I think a lot of Rs ( myself included ) dont look at policies as being taylored to black people or white people. Conservative politics are for all people. We dont craft things for specfic races. C. Thomas is a brilliant man. He is not there because he is black, he is there because he is brilliant.

Listen, I am just pointing out about how much Orange like to post about the black community in a negative way. Go and research his anger towards black people. We are not doing anything to him. If he doesn't like us, then just ignore us. I have no issues with any race.
Except for (in general, not you specifically) asking for $1M/per person in reparations which means increased taxes and fewer items for him, his family, his future, etc.

That is certainly "doing something".

Voting rights? They wanted voting rights? Did someone tell them they didn't have voting rights?

Oh, right. I get it. The democrats said "vote for us....we'll get you voting rights."

I agree with a lot of this. Now, the ridiculousness put on the by MAGA crowd here is by saying that the current democratic party is like the southern democrats of say, Strom Thurmond. All of those people would have been hard core republicans - hard stop.

I would love to see the "black vote" focus on things that not just help them, but the broader U.S. platform. On Voting rights, blacks have voted in record numbers - especially in GA. Without the black vote, the Senate is run by Republicans. Those votes happened fair and square - regardless of what nonsense Trump spews or if Fox loses $700M+.

On police reform, what reform is really wanted here? Police, I am sure, will be happy to walk away from black communities so that they do not get sued by Ben Crump or put in jail. George Floyd's family is set for generations over a $25 passed forged check. Taylor's family too.

Police reform = CNN + body cameras + witness cell phone cameras + Ben Crump + massive judicial payouts.

Would love to see the Black community focus on families being together (read: Deion Sanders, Jay-Z, Dwayne Wade, etc.), focus on bringing manufacturing back to america, focus on closed borders so that low cost immigration does not arbitrarily bring down wages, community college funding, equitable too - for things like nursing (which, by the way, Howard and HBCUs blocked - ironically, right?)

Now where I agree with you is....Donald Trump...start talking about THAT not the (radio edit) 2020 election and his bruised ego for the 58,106th time.

Oh, right. I get it. The democrats said "vote for us....we'll get you voting rights."
And when I posted on here a few months ago about black Georgia voters having a very good experience in recent elections given all the negative publicity about Ga voting, one bozo on here disagreed with the survey. I guess he wanted them to have a bad voting experience.

The white liberals know this and scream at any blk conservative. It's the play book.

You might want to read about Thomas selection.

This is just untrue. I've seen people posting about white guilt votes for Dems on this board dozens of times. I've also seen them criticize the mostly white antifa and even BLM crowds (in some cases) and even though you pretend otherwise, those people vote Dem.

Tons of white people vote Dem. You're just making crap up now.

Reparations is a fair discussions. There were so many government laws that hurt black people for generations. Not to mention the other groups that did receive reparations from the government. So I get the people that want to fight for it. I don't agree but I certainly get it. I think the window for reparations' was like 70 years ago.

I don't get it. It's entirely divisive and the last thing that we need to be discussing at this point.

I have no idea what it's like to be black. You don't know what it's like to be white. We're both allowed to have a thought or an opinion.

The guy I spoke about the other day who pretended to have a gun...on the way to jail he admitted to me that he hates me because I'm white, because I work for the Sheriff's Department and that's because Sheriff's hunted runaway slaves before the Civil War. That's why he hates me and why he was hopeful that I would go to jail for shooting an unarmed black man.

You don't know how that feels. I don't know what it's like to go through your stuff. But damn man, I'm not trying to say you can't have an opinion on black people hating me because of my skin color. Fire away.

Yes there is a difference and I have my own issues with inner city culture.

It's a hard truth but it is the truth.

That said, there are tons of great black people in inner cities who are victims of the BS too. To y'alls point, you were more referring to individual culture (character) rather than just the color of a person's skin.

IMHO the strategies, lies and general BS from the left are way more harmful to POC than the policies from the right.

The police reforms the left just won for black people are most harmful in black neighborhoods. Honest and hardworking black people are disproportionately suffering from the general lack of law enforcement.

And make no mistake, that is what the recent "police reform" looks like. Fewer interactions means less issues between cops and POC...and that means a free hand for bad people to do crap like what you see daily (robbing, looting, violence, ect). We've given illegality license.

Its is a little funny. Kalim keeps telling people on here that white people shouldn't tell black people what they want or what is good for them. I can understand that, but its what the left has been doing for years.

And sometimes, it nothing more then someone here talking about something they saw or read about. Take Defund the Police. I guess he just misses the interviews they show online and on tv wherein a reporter is in the black neighborhood asking people if they want want more police presence or less police presence. They always seem to say, please DON'T defund the police, we want police. We want safe neighborhoods.

I have also seen some where they are asking black people about voting and 99% always seem to have had no issues or problems.
