BTW, Ive seen studies where most of the illegals here in our country didn’t enter illegally. They merely overstayed their visa or claimed to be tourists. Trumps wall won’t help with that. That was one of the major objections.

When Trump tried to use $ from other areas under the Executive Office control, Nancy and Chuck did everything to stop him from building "new" wall. He was only able to "repair" or replace existing wall.

Well, he had control of the House and Senate for a while. Maybe he should have negotiated better. I recall there being a counter proposal that included portions of a wall.
The fact is, he sold it wrong. He alienated a lot of people when he characterized Mexican immigrants as thieves and rapists. He ignored the other border protection measures that were proposed. He’s just not a good negotiator.
