The Florida D will have a spirited outing on Saturday with the Gators knocking off Georgia 35-24.





Florida-Georgia: What You Need to Know


The Gators will head to Jacksonville for one of the most storied rivalries in college football



JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – EverBank Stadium and the Florida-Georgia game will once again take center stage on the college football landscape Saturday, as the Gators and the Bulldogs square off at 3:30 p.m., with CBS providing television coverage.

  • Parking Lots Open at 8 a.m. (Map)
  • Gates Open at 1:30 p.m. Fans can enter through ANY gate.
  • SEC Nation is headed to Jacksonville
  • Don't Wait Until the Gate: For faster and more efficient gate access, fans should be ready by adding their Mobile Tickets to their digital wallet. This will greatly reduce issues entering the stadium.
  • Fans are encouraged to arrive and enter the stadium early as gates open at 1:30 p.m. Fans can enter EverBank Stadium through any gate, regardless of seat assignment.
  • Kickoff is at 3:30 p.m.
SEC NATION

With a top SEC rivalry on tab, fans should make their way to Lot P outside EverBank Stadium as SEC Network's traveling show SEC Nation Presented by T-Mobile 5G Home Internet, will be broadcasting from the site of this year's matchup between the Florida Gators and the Georgia Bulldogs.

SEC Nation, hosted by Gators alumna Laura Rutledge, alongside Gators Great Tim Tebow, Roman Harper, Jordan Rodgers and Paul Finebaum, will air live from 10 a.m. to noon on SEC Network.

Additionally, Marty & McGee Presented by Old Trapper, will also make the trip down to Jacksonville. Hosted by Marty Smith and Ryan McGee, the show will air Saturday morning from 9 - 10 a.m.

GENERAL INFORMATION


EverBank Stadium officials will be conducting clear bag inspections, and metal detectors will be set up at each entrance. Officials have the authority to inspect clothing and other items. In addition, there is a strict clear bag policy. See below for details.

Gates open at 1:30 p.m., and there is a strict no re-entry policy.

PARKING INFORMATION

Parking lots open at 8 a.m. and are expected to fill up five hours prior to kickoff.

GATOR WALK

The Florida football team is expected to arrive at Gate 1 of EverBank Stadium on Saturday. Fans are welcome to line up no later than 1:10 p.m. to cheer on the Gators as they arrive at the stadium.



TAILGATING INFORMATION


The City of Jacksonville will enforce its municipal code concerning underage drinking and prohibition against alcoholic beverages on the city sidewalks and streets. Tailgating will be allowed in the parking lots and areas around the stadium, but once you leave the vicinity of your vehicle, strict adherence to the ordinance will be enforced by the City of Jacksonville Police.

Fans are reminded that when they are tailgating, the State of Florida prohibits open containers in automobiles except in locked glove compartments or locked trunks. Police will strictly enforce this law.



SIDELINE SAFETY ZONE AND GUEST SERVICE LOCATIONS


The Information & First Aid Zones are Guest Service locations produced by the City of Jacksonville and UF Health to provide an area where residents, students and visitors enjoying downtown Jacksonville before, during, and after the Florida-Georgia game day festivities can find assistance. This includes basic medical help, first aid, transportation services information, directions, water and more.

Penalty-Free Safe Zone

The Information and First Aid Zones are about making everyone’s Florida-Georgia experience as enjoyable and safe as possible. Fans who request assistance at the Zone for themselves or their friends will not be subject to legal action on any alcohol issues.



Locations

The Information & First Aid Zones presented by UF Health Jacksonville will be at the following locations:



  • Lot P – Veterans Memorial Wall (1145 E Adams Street)
  • Lot X – Service Road entrance, south of Gator Bowl Blvd., eastbound.
  • Lot P – Babe Ruth Statue (corner of Georgia St. & Duval St.)
  • Across from VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena, corner of A. Philip Randolph & Duval Street
  • Lot E – outside RV City (corner of Talleyrand & Gator Bowl Blvd.)


Hours of operation: Saturday, October 28 from 12 p.m. – 30 minutes after the game ends.

Safety Tips


  1. Stay in groups.
  2. Stay in high-traffic areas.
  3. Choose a designated driver.
  4. Take a photo of where you park.
  5. Take an Uber, Lyft, cab or free trolley.

BAG POLICY & PROHIBITED ITEMS



Clear Bags


In the interest of fan safety, EverBank Stadium has a clear bag policy in accordance with SEC and NFL policy. Fans are reminded that EverBank Stadium's policy is the same as what the UAA has in place at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium.



Other Prohibited Items


  • No cameras with lenses longer than six inches.
  • No bags or purses larger than 12” x 6” x 12”
  • No coolers or containers including cans, cups, and bottles.
  • No strollers or umbrellas.
  • No pets (except special services).
  • No food or beverage from outside the stadium.
  • No seat cushions.
  • No video or audio recorders.
  • No whistles, noisemakers, air horns or laser pointers.
  • No poles or sticks, including selfie sticks.
  • No knives, guns, or any type of weapons or explosives.
  • No promotional materials.
  • Any other item deemed unacceptable by stadium management.
  • Banners or signs larger than 3’ x 2’


MOBILE TICKETS

To improve security, reduce the risk of ticket fraud and improve fan convenience, all tickets for Florida Gators athletic are mobile and can be handled through the Florida Gators app or by visiting FloridaGators.com/myaccount.



  • Download the Florida Gators App (App Store | Google Pay).
  • Don't Wait Until the Gate: For faster, more efficient gate access, log into your ticket account and add your tickets to your Apple Wallet or Google Pay account. This will greatly reduce issues entering the stadium. (Learn How)
  • Screenshots of tickets will not be accepted.


For fans needing assistance, the ticketing box office opens at 12 p.m. – three and a half hours prior to kickoff – and is located at the north end of the stadium, near Gate 2.



FLORIDA-GEORGIA BASEBALL GAME

A storied rivalry across all sports, the universities’ baseball teams will take the field at 121 Financial Ballpark for a fall exhibition game. As the innings and pitches pile up, Gators and Dawgs alike should be there to cheer on their team. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. First pitch is 6:30 p.m. Tickets for the concert, baseball game, and fireworks show are $15 (plus applicable fees).

FLORIDA-GEORGIA HALL OF FAME INDUCTION CEREMONY AND LUNCHEON

During this year’s Florida-Georgia Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony and Luncheon, presented by Miller Electric Company, fans can be front and center as Florida standouts Earnest Graham and Joe Haden are inducted to the Florida-Georgia Hall of Fame. The Gators Great duo will be joined by Georgia’s Mark Richt and Terrence Edwards in this year’s enshrinement.
