Four-star defensive lineman Dante Stills will make his college choice on Thursday at a pep rally at his high school. He is down to Florida, Oklahoma and West Virginia.

Since the start, WVU has been the safe choice because of proximity, he is a legacy and he currently has a brother attending the school.

Florida got in the picture with an offer.

Oklahoma seems more like an afterthought.

On Thursday, the smart money is on the Mountaineers. However, I don't know that if that happens, this one is over. Normally when a kid hasn't visited Florida I would give the Gators 0-percent chance. However, his ties to Ja'Juan Seider, and Seider's son Jaden run deep - they had a relationship pre-existing his becoming a product.

Could he announce for Florida on Thursday? Perhaps. It isn't likely, but it isn't out of the question either.

Taking into account what I wrote above, plus it is at a school pep rally, in an area that is very pro WVU (actually, the entire state is), all signs point to him staying in-state.

What we will mostly be watching for here is if he takes visits this fall. He said he was going to visit the Gators and Sooners over the summer, but didn't. Now, he may say he still plans on visiting this fall. We'll watch to see if it actually takes place.
