Florida leads the all-time series vs. Ole Miss, 63-45, including a win at Oxford earlier this season in head coach Mike White’s first game coaching against his alma mater. UF is 36-12 at home vs. Ole Miss, but saw a seven-game home win streak vs. the Rebels snapped last season.

The Gators are attempting to complete a season sweep after Ole Miss swept UF in two meetings last season. This marks the second straight season Florida and Ole Miss play a home-and-home after meeting just once each regular season from 1994-2014.

Florida earned an 80-71 win in Oxford, handing Ole Miss its first loss in The Pavilion. KeVaughn Allen rolled up 27 points, shooting 9-for-11 from the floor and 6-for-7 from 3-point range. It was UF’s best individual percentage (.857) from beyond the arc since Michael Frazier II hit an identical 6-for-7 at Auburn as a freshman on Feb. 16, 2013.

Man, I really wish MF III was still at Florida. He could have been a nice piece for this team and could have gone back to more of a spot up shooter role. Can't blame a kid for wanting to go pro but it's not really working out for him thus far. Wishing the best for him but would have loved to have his sharp shooting this year.

Kasey having a good early game. Five points, 2-2 at the FT line, 1-1 at the three point line and a nice assist.

Moody went out with three fouls and we were up by 10. Now Ole Miss, without their best shooter, turns it into a 2 point game. Turnovers

Having Hill in a tight game makes me nervous. He has played well so far. But he makes me nervous

lmao playing against UK again, every time Ole Miss gets the ball past half court it's two free throws.

Not sure what game you were watching. hey were feeding the big guy whenever they could. He finished with 14 points, five others in double figures.
We were well ahead middle point through the second half. They went to zone. We would not go inside, jacked up threes, missed (8-23 from the 3 point line) and then fouled Moody, (8-11 from tyhe FT line). He made the FTs. They got very close. We finally started going inside. Moody fouled out. We went 3-6 from the FT line down the stretch and won by 5.

That was the game I was watching. Which one were you watching?

Man that was sloppy. They hung tough though.

We had a bunch of stupid fouls, but also the refs were awful. That foul on Robinson for over the back was one of the worst calls I've ever seen. He jumps straight up and grabs the ball and absolutely gets dragged over backward by two guys and he gets hit with the foul.

Best game of the year for d-rob. Hopefully he's over whatever was holding him back the last two months. I thought he'd be our best player this year. Hopefully we see a lot more of that down the stretch. We did forget about Egbunu at times, but their zone was collapsing back in the lane, daring Hill and Chiozza to shoot, which too often they did.

Good win.

Yep. Early on, they were killing us on the boards. Robinson come in and changed that dynamic.

Hill and Chris need to focus on assists. They both are anemic scorers.

I never really felt like we would lose that game

I got pretty nervous when Moody started heating up in the second half. That guy can absolutely beat you by himself, especially when we're throwing the ball all over the place and putting him on the line every other time down the floor.

I thought his fourth foul was a makeup for the horrendous call on the Robinson rebound, and I thought his fifth was a bad call too.

Chiozza can shoot a little bit, but seven threes is ridiculous. I would bench Hill every time he shoots a three, even if he makes it. I thought he lost his mind a little bit in the first half after he made that first one.

He got enough calls throughout the 2nd half to earn those with how he was just running around in circles pushing people off. That last one on him looked like a charge to me, he just hammered his way in there again and flew into Drob or whoever it was while getting his shot blocked too.

Good win against a dangerous team. Our last 7 will be pretty tough. Need to hold serve at home against Bama and then maybe pick off one of the next two on the road.

Even with as inconsistent as this team plays, we could actually have a good shot of winning the next 4 of 5 games. Bama should be a win, then @UGA, @USC which Ive thought isn't actually that good all year, Vandy at home.... @LSU will be tough and then rupp refs flying into Gainesville

We are 7-4 in the SEC. With 7 games left. If we go 4-3, I think we are in around a 7 or 8 seed. Of the seven remaining games, four are road games.

I think we can do better than that. I can see five wins in that group with two to three road wins. We should win at home again Bama and Vandy.

If UK comes in and plays its best, we probably do not beat them. But they are very capable of losing on the road. They have lost on the road to much worse team than Florida, most notably @ Auburn, @ UCLA and @ UT.

The next three games are very important for us as far as our tournament hopes, we have to take care of business in these games if we can't steal one at LSU or somewhere else.

Correct. We were pounding inside. Then they went to zone and were quickly collapsing down on Egbunu-giving him little to no room to shoot (good adjustment by Kennedy). The way you beat a zone like that is to either shoot them out of it or go inside out. The problem with that is that Egbunu is NOT a good passer back out and, as a result he turned it over several times. Even though UF struggles shooting, they made enough to force them to extend their defense, opening up the middle more. THAT is what I was watching.

Egbunu needs to spend the next off season practicing passing out of double teams.
