Florida/Tennessee game thread

Considering just how weak the team is after Martin quit and his replacement had to be fired because the AD didn't vet him so that Barnes had to build a team out of players nobody else wanted, making the NCAA would be a huge accomplishment.

Lizards should ashamed to get whipped so bad by a team of runts

UF's just a weak-sister in B-Ball, eveyone knows that we're just a football school... ;)

But you wanna talk embarrassing as hell.... UF 74 - 66 Tennessee :p

Hey Mad-Dog-Dollie --- o_O

After Story
(just a couple of days later):

LSU 85 - 67 UK (-18) ---- Tn 83 - 69 UF (-14)

LSU 62 - 68 UF (+6) ---- aTm 92 - 88 Tn (-4)

Back in,, the saddle,, again... :p
--------------

BillyD was hired in 1996. He promptly went 13-17, then 15-16 in his first 2 seasons as the Gator B-Ball coach. It was the 1998-99 season before he was able to finally put UF on the road to consistent quality 20+ win B-Ball. I'm willing to give coach White at least that long to build up his team to a consistent quality standard.

And all that blather is actually supposed to mean something? UT lost by 4 to the # 17 team in the nation, a team they weren't supposed to even be on the same court with and LSU choked. Big whoop. Doesn't erase uf from being run off the court by tn now does it?

In B-Ball, bad games can happen, even to quality teams, i.e. (LSU 85 - 67 UK) o_O

But up on ole sloppy-drop in no-Knox tennis-sea, Championships have become incredibly rare in any sport. :p

PS

Seems to me that your Head-BJ has rubbed off on your Barn-boy, since he too has learned how to choke a big lead late in games.... LMAO! :D

Eh, we're getting there.

How's your Q/B situation? Ours was so good, the #1 in 2017 class decided it was easier to compete at Clem than fight the # 10 Dual, the # 10 PS Q/B from the 2015 class, a #1 Dual from the 2016 class and the #1PS in the 2018 class. So he decommitted and fled to safer competition.

The #10 Dual showed up late and was red shirted. Saw Dobbs returning for his senior year. Dormady already established as the Passing Q/B and the #1 Dual Q/B Guarantano enrolling in the summer. So he went back to the West Coast to Washington State.

Gosh darn, ain't having too many good Q/Bs just a darned shame?

Oh, didja see how bad Franks did in AA Practice:?" Word coming out is that he will likely be 4th on the roster behind the P-U transfer:eek: Del Rio's kido_O, the 2* nobody Trask who never started a game at qb since he was in the 5th grade:rolleyes: Then Franks:oops:

Our line with 2 true Freshmen at Guard and tackle True Sophs at Center and guard and a 5th year LT
gave up 19 sacks. Still quite a bit. But down from 43 sacks last season.

How'd the Swamp Reptiles do sack wise?

They did manage to block well enough that UT was the # 3 rushing team in the SEC. 25 yds behind Bammer, 22 yds behind LSU. . They finished # 20 nationally. Offense for 2016 lose 1 OT and 1 W/R. Got 9 starters returning and a total of 19 in the 2-man returning on offense and at least 7 returning starters returning on Defense. At least 17 returning in the 2-man ( Got a couple trying to make up their minds whether to go to the Draft this year or stay and try to increase their draft status next year

You Gators finished 13th in rushing in the SEC(out of 14 teams) and # 100 out of 128 NCAA teams. Lets see. You lose at q/b Mr Roid and Harris( he ain't likely to want to stay with all the hate said at and to him and all the blame put on his shoulders), RBs Taylor & Herndon, W/R Robinson( he thinks he's NFL material. Big gamble) Father Time( Jake McGee) at TE, Halter at LT and Thurman at Center.

I like our returning position over your returning position.. How many underclassmen off the defense are entering the NFL

McAlister
Neal
Hot Stuff III
Anzalone
Davis
Maye

Any more?

Seniors that'll have to be replaced
Poole
Harrell
Morrison
Bullard.

Holley likely to go the Medical Ship route. Big guys with broken hips just don't bounce back. Ended Bo Jackson's career. Ended our best player's career in the 1st quarter of the game against Oklahoma this season -Curt Maggitt.

I like our defense returning position over yours too.

Now with a smarter DC, maybe we won't have that case of the stupids facing florida that occurred the last two years stealing wins from us and handing 1 point wins to them.. Got to wait until September to find out.

These guys are worse than Delusionoles. Lose 11 in a row to us, try to convince us you are a power house? ROFL. We will whip you again next year in September for #12, and in January you will, again, be back telling us how awesome you are. It's the circle of life, or something like that.

By "smarter" DC, you mean brand-new DC? Bringing in a brand new scheme that your kids won't really understand by the third game? Yeah, that's a recipe for success.

Yeah, your QB situation was so good that last year you refused to throw a forward pass in the second half, running your QB over and over instead. Impressive.

Is Mad Doggie really trying to convince us that a QB recruit was scared of Josh Dobbs but chose to go to Clemson to compete with Watson?

Dude spent the entire off season last year breaking down every single UF graduate and early departure to show how UT would beat UF. He disappeared for weeks after the game where UT lost to UF. He finally showed up after LSU beat UF and claimed he had a bad foot.

And all the ignorant decisions UT made in the game against Florida was all due to Will Grier being on roids...a week later vs Ole Miss.

So yep, Mad-Dog debates like a 3rd grader, and then after he gets hammered yet again, he argues like a little girl with her slip showing... :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D --

Hunter is in the 2017 class. Dobbs, a senior in the 2016 class, will be working for Lockheed by then. Watson will be in the NFL as an early entry into the 2017 Draft so the competition won't be as difficult at Klem..

Now, once again, there were TWO top 10 Q/Bs( One, the # 10 Dual Threat) has since departed for University of Washington due to the number of top Q/Bs at UT and the competition being so tough)that would have been in front of Hunter, who is a Pro style Q/B. Then there is the # 1 Dual Threat Q/B in the nation coming in this 2016 recruiting class that would be in front of his as well. THEN, the # 1 Pro Style Q/B (as well as #1 player in the nation) likely following him in the 2018 class.

So, Hunter made the decision to decommit and go where the competition isn't going to be as difficult. Probably a good decision on his part. We also had the # 4( at that time, now # 6) Pro Style Q/B in this 2016 class - Austin Kendall, decommit as well due to the number of Top Q/Bs already on the roster and the #1 Dual Threat- Jarrett Guarantano, who committed after he did coming on board. Kendall went to Oklahoma as the competition there isn't as crowded either.

Bobby Bouchet was right, wasn't he?

Really? You've lost 11 in a row to us. Nobody cares about what kind of crap is on the UT football team. Go to the Vandy board or somebody you can beat.

The butthead Mad-Dog-Dollie is still yappin' about some unproven Tennessee QB, when even Moon-Roid Peyton Manning went 0-4 against UF???? --- And back then, they at least had a 'real' football coach guiding their team, instead of just some Head-BJ. o_O

Really ROTF :D:D:D LMAO now...
