Florida-Miami makes list of rivalries that need to be renewed

Linked below is CBS Sports list of college football rivalries that need to be renewed.

It of course includes Florida-Miami.

My thoughts have been the same for years. If I were Florida I wouldn't go home and home with Miami because that is more advantageous to the Hurricanes than it is for the Gators.

Florida doesn't need Miami. The Hurricanes do need the Gators.

I would go 2-1 or 2-1-1 (with a neutral site) but never 1-1.
